I'm already there. Me and my clan will not be buying D2 unless Bungie checks off a number of "must have" boxes, and #1 is full separation of PVE from PVP. If they aren't separated, expect more of the same of everything we have had in Y2. Underwhelming weaponry and abilities, boring, tedious PVE with no sense of power progression, more emphasis on PVP. The game will for all intents and purposes become another CoD game with aliens.

Right, I hate to say it, but I doubt we will be playing D2, bungie would have made an announcement that the two modes would be separate by now if they were planning on separating them. Sad but ohh well, there is always sea of thieves!!

My guess is that if they are going to announce this info, they would announce it during the May 18th gameplay preview, or the details will leak sometime around then (either before or after). If not, the next place for them to announce it would be during the live/open Beta phase. But if they are going to separate them, they will likely announce well before launch to increase initial sales. If they don't separate the two, we likely won't get an announcement until after launch or the day of launch. They wouldn't say to the world "oh and btw, we're not separating PVP from PVE" when doing so could reduce initial sales numbers. They'll make such announcement at launch when all the pre-order people have gotten their games and they can't return them for full price. This would effectively make people get "stuck" with the product, and they'll stay and play anyways, because why not try to enjoy the product since you can't return it for full value? Just my thinking on the matter. This is why I won't pre-order.
