The combat is just so more fast paced and instead of being punished for being aggresive you are getting rewarded for it. Which 1 do you like more bloodborne or ds3

2 通の返信I never understood why DS 3 gets so much hate (not saying you're hating on it, just in general). I think it's the best in the series. People idealize DS 1 way too much. It was good, but it wasn't perfect. Most people would say it's the hardest, but I think that comes from the fact that it was the first that most people played. We weren't used to that type of game, so it was tough to learn. Another issue was that it didn't run very well in a lot of places. Frame rate drops were common, and caused me to die more than a few times. DS 3 is the most refined game in the series. FromSoft took the best aspects of all of the games and meshed them together into a near perfect creation. I'm pretty sure the only reason people think it's easier than most is because we're so used to the games at this point. All of the quirks, tricks, and secrets are familiar. I think they made DS 3 too well.

Dark souls 3 is easily the worst in the series. That's not to say it's a bad game, just that it's let me down the most. Dark souls will always be the best because the story and bosses are really great (gangbang McGee and gangvang mcgoo). Also giant dad. And I feel like darks souls 2 gets a lot of hate even though it isn't that bad. I personally prefer a playthrough of dark souls 3 over dark souls 2 for pve, but dark souls 2 pvp>>>dark souls 3 pvp. I enjoyed it because if you were really good you could beat people with broken weapons, anything was viable so much as you knew all the tech and were good. Dark souls 3, sure you can be good but there's less tech. Also no backstep I frames. And poise.

3 通の返信Bloodborne is better than Dark Souls 3 in most regards, aside from build variety. The art direction is more consistent, the combat feels much more refined, and the live orchestra score absolutely destroys 3's synthetic one.

1 返信I liked Bloodborne a lot more because it was my first FromSoftware game and I just liked the mechanics better. I remember thinking when I played DSIII: "God I miss rally". It's sad though that because DSIII is newer, nobdy is often around to do PvP or co-op.

If bloodborne had weapon arts for all the weapons, more arcane powers that used a magic gauge instead of bullets, and a lil more build variety, it would be perfect. In regards to atmosphere, art design, combat fluidness, and overall feeling of exploration, I liked bloodborne more. I still like dark souls 3, but bloodborne just feels a lot better to play.
The combat is just so more fast paced and instead of being punished for being aggresive you are getting rewarded for it. Which 1 do you like more bloodborne or ds3
Slow, heavy combat. You screw up and you get punished. Make great hammers great again. I preffer ds2 combat. Forget 3 and bb.

I think the overall experience of bloodborne is utterly flawless, much better than 3. But I do think 3 is much more fun than BB. I can play that for hours on multiple ng cycles and never get bored, whereas BB loses its luster after about playthrough 3 imho.

You wont find much disagreement there. Although we can all agree that were all thankful to have those games in our lives. Yes those kind of games existed before Demons Souls, but Demons had something going for it, and came out in the right time to really bring life to that genre. Some would argue Ninja Gaiden was doing it before, but NG didn't have that special something that makes Souls/Blood so much more fun. Now look at how Souls games have influenced other devs. We got Bloodborn (Sony approached Fromsoft with the idea), Nioh (ironically a ninjatheory game), and Scourge (that robo soulslike game). Cant wait for fromsoft to make Armored Core with souls influences lol.
