I'm still confused why the quitters feel the need to let other people know that they are quitting! Or "I'm just taking a break to see if the game is worth coming back to..." F@ck off, quit talking about it, and disappear already! No one cares if you quit, ESPECIALLY the people you hope would care and change something because you're quitting. Bungee really doesn't care if you quit. Just leave silently, and we don't need to know what you are leaving to go play instead.

I enjoy it here even though I left. Mostly Offtopic, but I occasionally stroll over here to give my thoughts and try to brighten somebody's day.

If they ever discover sex the forums will be empty.

I do it to check out the latest news and to see info about D2. Also to see what the new meta is and how butt hurt people are about it.

Why does it bother you so much you made a forum post about it? It's none of your business what other forum users do or say.

I've all but stopped playing now, will play some of the update stuff for funsies but I still hang around here when I'm at work, here's why.... I'm getting Destiny 2 100%, this site will almost certainly be where all our Destiny 2 data is held. Bungie aren't gonna make a completely new Bungie.net for Destiny 2. So I still use the forums to chip in my 2 cents about the game and possibly make some new friends for Destiny 2!

I'm here because I hope they will add or change something that will make me want to play again. I had a great time playing Destiny.

There is no game like Destiny. It's special. IMO, it's the greatest game ever made. Unfortunately, it was made by Bungie. It seemed like Bungie wanted to destroy their creation. They made wrong move after wrong move, until Destiny became a shadow of what it was. Everything that was good about the game was now boring or a complete mess. The things we loved were left in Year 1 (Flaming Nightfall heads, Elemental Primaries, all Raids relevant, all Strikes relevant, etc.). There was no good reason for these changes, and the removal of these things diminished the game in the extreme. Now, at the end of Destiny's life, Bungie is doing what they should have done in the first place, and returning the things they never should have took. It's a bittersweet time for the Destiny fans that left, those of us that loved what the game was, but could not abide the unnecessary destruction of the game we loved. Do we celebrate the return of that which should not have been taken? Do we continue to be angry with the Bungie? Do we return, and if so, when? For me, the answer is "Yes", and the time is now. The upcoming update fixes all of the reasons I left, and I'm not going to hold a grudge, not when my Destiny is finally back after so long. TLDR: We stick around the forums because we love the game, but not in it's current form. We want it to return to the form that we loved. It's back to that form because the community screamed at Bungie to make it that way. Basically, it worked!
