They can't really make anything new, since, after this update, I think it'll just be full steam ahead on D2.

This event is supposed to be for the fanboys, for the nostalgia. It's a remembering of what we loved. It's supposed to be a final farewell to this game, not another grind. If you don't enjoy this, fine, but then get the hell of the Destiny forums if your not going to be constructive about Destiny and your just going to complain. If you don't want to remember the good times, then you don't deserve to experience the new.

I'm wondering if you can tell me what bungie's nut sack tastes like? Btw, your last statement is ass backwards: if bungie is unable to deliver "good times", they don't deserve my time or money. Also, you telling me I don't deserve to experience the "new good times" from destiny if I "don't want to remember the good times" is the same -blam!-ed attitude that bungie management has (and why so many players have bailed). You may be too dull to comprehend this, but my analysis IS constructive. What you perceive as complaining, is me telling bungie: destiny 1 has run its course, I hope D2 will deliver. Finally, the march update was a decent gesture by bungie and will be great for players that joined in y2. For vanilla players it's like getting served tofurkey on thanksgiving.

As a day one player, I'd disagree. I'm super hyped for this update. Raiding is my favorite activity. Something I'd do whenever I possibly can. I KNOW several people coming back specifically for this update. SPECIFICALLY for the old raids and new gear

Trust. They are gonna play it to all heck and back. The group I play with enjoy the raids just as much as u do. I KNOW they'll enjoy it. I KNOW I will enjoy it. If you don't, that just means D1 is dead to you. I can respect that fact. The game is THREE freaking years old. I'm surprised it's lasted this long.
