All I Want is my Emblems in D2
After reading today's post by bungie I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in the news. Most not all guardians don't really care what their characters look like at this point but most if not all would have loved to see their favorite and/or exclusive emblems and shaders get carried over. This news today made me feel that after 2+ years of grinding was for nothing. Love the game just wish they would revisit that idea down the road.

2 通の返信Who honestly cares about emblems? They are shoddy and don't even have lore attached to them. Maybe if they were more interactive and specific to your guardians tale it would matter but they are just pictures with no significance. When I look at folks in the tower or pre/post game in crucible I don't care at all about their emblems. Other than raid completions or trials wins they don't matter. Even then, the amount of carries invalidates any significance those may carry.

Eververse 2.0 will have a "Good Ole Days Package" it will cost 10,000 silver dust 2.0, and reward you with 1 item from your Destiny 1 vault. It will "randomly" be selected (this includes ether seeds, black wax, etc...). There is also no guarantee that you will not get duplicates. Every thing we did for the last three years was for nothing, but because we wanted something it was just for that momentary reason and thats what made it worth it. Don't forget destiny 3 is coming out in the next few years so until then you enjoy moments in destiny 2 with your friends if you get it.

I don't see the point, besides it sounds like you'll probably receive some cosmetics for your accomplishments like said vetertan rewards and carrying over emblems and such would totally defeat the purpose of that, Also please if you find another shooter that has carry over, let me know because I've never seen one.

Well when I played call of duty, I wasn't sad that those emblems couldn't carry over. There are very few games that actually allow carryover. It's not only hard to do, but D2 will lose the ability for a new style if it's wrapped in the old style.
