You have to use the lowest range hand cannon possible, the lowest range shotgun possible, and a sword. Every kill you get you have to use an emote on their dead body. If you get five kills, you can use a better primary, ten kills a better secondary, and 12 kills will get you a better heavy. Trust me I had to think this out for a long ass time :/

Bungie should take your idea and package it for their game. What do I mean? Every reset a message pops up giving you random challenges in the game, no mechanic changes necessary, just random fun. On completion of challenges you get something, but the something has to be worthwhile or players won't try it. Maybe a legenday engram with a higher chance at a god roll perhaps? This would encourage different gun use and encourage people to stop using meta weapons. I'm really good at spotting a good idea wrapping it up in pretty packaging and selling it to companies. Bungie would benefit from this idea.

Only problem being, god roll differs from person to person. For example, the uninformed people think Rangefinder is a god roll perk on shotguns. But once you do the math, since rangefinder only increases range by 5% on shotguns (and max range stat being like 32), the difference is literally 1/32 increase to your current range, since 5% of 32 is only 1.6. The increase might be 2/32 of max range, if it rounds up. An informed player knows this, so Rangefinder is not a god roll for them. Another perk example is Hidden Hand. Many uniformed players consider it a god roll perk on sniper rifles, but for those who actually know what it does on snipers, it is a mediocre perk at best. Point being, they'd need some other incentive, because there is no universal "god roll". #TitanMasterRace

Yeah I get you, some incentive that's worthwhile. God rolls definitely differ depending on playstyle it's really the only thing I could think of on the fly to fill the void. *ashamed* I figure if they could do something worthwhile to encourage players it would be a good thing.

What may work is that they are given the choice of what engram it could be. Not Primary/Special/Heavy, but Hand Cannon/Sniper/Rocket/Pulse, etc. And throw the armor engrams in there too. That way if I was looking for, say, a Event Horizon with Triple Tap, Spray and Play, and Casket Mag, I could choose a sniper engram. Which while not a guarantee for any roll or weapon, it's still a much, much higher chance for what I want. #TitanMasterRace
