Well if this was the Valentine update. I can't wait for the April fools day one.

That's probably their best bet, actually. Just leave it this way until April 1st and change things back then. People will likely still be pissed, but possibly a bit less, as long as they make promises about Destiny 2 and how they're gonna stop messing up with that.
