I am so sick of how bad this sub-class is in PvP. While using the super it is so easy to die, for example when self resing it is so easy to get killed by any super and secondaries, not only that the sub-class dies so easily but it's grenades and melee is so horrible, the only usable melee is Brimstone since it doesn't fail and can be combo with the super melee. The grenades the the sunsinger has is also horrible with there only being one useable grenade being the fusion grenade which already is a horrible grenade since most classes can easily get rid off it and also it requires near direct contact and if it doesn't slick onto the enemy it does hardly any damage. Another thing that angers me about the Sunsinger is that there is barley any exotic support and that out of all the supers it takes a while to fully charge while the Titan and Hunter can gain their supers in a couple of kills. But out of all the Bulls**t about the Sunsinger is how many unnecessary nerfs that was made to this sub-class when it was still a s**t sun-class to run, Bungie nerfed this sub-class to the point where even in PvE it is a s**t sub-class to run.
•give the Sunsinger a hidden ability that when it uses its super an area of effect blast would occur that deals slight damage to enemies while also slowing them down and dealing a damage over time effects like the smoke grenade
•get rid off the instant kill melee but then give radiance a massive damage resistance buff
•fix the damage/duration overtime by flame of touch
•touch of flame and Viking funeral is automatically prox when running through solar grenades
•increase the damage of Brimstone
•fix the glitches and time it takes to prox Flame shield
•fix the jump of warlocks

2 通の返信I think that sunsinger does need a buff but it shouldn't be this. I think they need to switch Viking funeral's and touch of flame's places on the skill tree and then undo the firebolt grenade nerf however not the Viking funeral nerf. That way you could run double burn bolts. It definitely wouldn't be as good as it was with the old Viking funeral but that alone would go a long way.

I still use firebolts with Viking funeral and they are amazing and solar grenades are all that and a bag of chips. Self rez itself is kinda "ehh" but toss radiant skin on and watch the shot gunners think they can take you

80 通の返信Sun singer And sun breaker. Basically if you're not a hunter in pvp you're at a huge disadvantage. Period Warlocks and Titans are trash compared to the hunter. Fix this

When you use it, you get the ''Resist" shield for respawning paired on top of your damage resistance until the animation has pretty much fully finished, not even a fist of havoc can kill you until you can fully move around again. Some guy tried to Nova Bomb me with Lance active while I was still in the animation and it only took about 2/5 of my health, was quite satisfying. Outside of this, Radiance feels extremely useless, especially if you don't have Max Discipline / Strength. Whenever I see someone with Radiance active, they are so easy to challenge it's almost laughable, it takes about 2-3 extra shots with a Primary to kill them, even with Radiant Skin active, and 1-Shot with a Matador to kill them. Other than that, I only run Sunsinger anymore for Fusion Grenades, since Warlocks have the worst grenades known to this game (With the exception of Scatter + Nothing Manacles at times, and Storm Grenade with Arc Web active), and don't get me started with Ignite not activating 50% of my melee attacks, but still taking the charge. It has it's ups and downs, but if I had to give a verdict, yes, Sunsinger's Abilities could all use a buff. Solar Wind is useless, Ignite doesn't activate 50% of kills, Radiance is useless without max discipline / strength + Brimstone active so you get your melee back fast enough, and Radiant Skin is barely noticeable. Upon activating Radiance, I personally think it should auto-activate a flame shield with resistance similar to Force Barrier, and Solar Wind needs to hit with about the force of a Taken Phalanx shield blast. [b]Also, here's an excellent suggestion to overhaul Viking Funeral:[/b] Similar to Electrostatic Mind on Stormcallers damaging enemies, when Radiance is active, any enemies within about 5-7 feet of you automatically get inflicted with burn damage that stacks every second they are near you. That would make it so people are far less inclined to just run up and challenge / shotgun you right out of Radiance.

The firebolt detection can get a buff, it takes to long and it is the easiest to avoid, just jump. Lol hide behind cover, its not able to be used competive if its easily avoidable. All melees choices could be reworked. If they completely reworked Viking Funeral. Rework the melee that pushes people away. No seriously change that. They should make a new choice that can make any ability kills causes the target to explode? Like a bloom for Sunsinger. That's viable and usable. The stat builds need to be reworked just for Sunsinger. Just like the titan striker which can max its toughness. Have the Sunsinger be able to max out recovery. Even giving that subclass Cauterize would be a great idea.

Sorry I didn't read the whole thing, but sunsingers only need minor buffs, not huge ones, I used my Sunsinger in trials last week and it was very strong, the fireborn could use a duration buff, viking funeral seems mostly pointless in pvp but maybe good for pve I haven't tried it but people say that it needs buffed and firebolts and arcbolts both need buffs

Song of flame needs to drop the proximity requirement, give it infinite range and simply make it a global buff for your team. Meaning it doesn't require line of sight. Another basic change is simply give sunsinger a damage buff like you would get if a hunter used his bow or a titan his punch or bubble. Though now that I recall they already have that in perks somewhere sorta. Im just asking for an overall damage increase when the super is activated. Maybe keep it to abilities. Hard to say what.

Open at ur own risk [spoiler]Nades: sticky: same Firebolt: 61 damadge, but can tag up to 5 targets, allies can be targeted for an increased health regen speed and health over time (Doubles health over time and recovery for duration, 7 health over time for 7 ticks) Old targeting radius, larger radius for tagging allies (10 meters) Solar: lasts longer, allies may pass through it once for an overshield Mele: Flameshield: click mele to gift them an overshield, no rage limit Solar wind: more range less damage, more push Shining light: enemies meled can be seen by allies through walls, impaired vision, and regenerate at a slower rate (all effects are delayed) Super: now last longer (original will of light intrensic) has song of flame intrensic and shows a radius Devine light: allies in radius gain increased handling, reload speed (like with the perk from kings fall that grants bonus reload speed while in the aurora) Selfless medic: anything that will damage will now give that much health to allies during radiance Fire born: activating will return you and all allies near you that could normally be revived back to life Column A: Angel of light: aiming weapons while in the air causes you to float, you and nearby allies deal more damage non guardian enemies while airborne Viking funeral: enemies affected by burn take 5% more damage for one stack of burn, 30% for 2 and 45% for 3 stacks, burn, overshields and and health regen last longer Sunburst: enemies killed by your abilities explode causing ignite, enemies killed by ignite or explosions explode causing ignite etc. Column B: Touch of flame: all grenades cause ignite Increased strength of health regeneration and overshield Will of light: enemies killed by any of your abilities generate orbs of light Gift of the sun: gain an additional grenade Overshield will go from 31 to 50 with Touch of flame and health regen will heal 11 damage per second with touch of flame, overshield last 8 seconds, last 15 seconds with Viking funeral, burn his from 7 ticks to 11 ticks with Viking funeral. Sunsingers are still very effective in pvp. Self rez was never a amazing super but, it does have its strengths. It doesn't need any sort of buff other than maybe bringing flame shield proc time back to where it was.
