All I see on these forums is people crying about Trials of Osiris and how its too hard and how all the "nolife streamers" keep beating them. Wah "there should be skill based match making" Wah "you should be locked out of playing after you go flawless" Wah "they should remove the loss system"..
How about instead of trying to change the game.... Wait for it.....
You change yourself.....
"WOW!!! Is that even a thing?" I hear you ask.. Well let me tell you, indeed it is.... You can actually practice to play better in this game. Its amazing! And if you practice enough then you can actually get good enough to go flawless in trials...
Spread your hate below all my negative KD friends!!

22 通の返信Also, if you practice hard enough you can make it in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and PGA tour. All it takes is practice. No inherent skill or talent of any kind is necessary. Simply practice until your hands fall off then use your nubs to beat the shit out of yourself and you will have succeeded in life. What an absolute asshat you are. You're ranked in the top 1% in trials of Osiris. Let's put you up against the other one percenters and see how often you go flawless. I'll bet it's very few. But against scrubs like myself and the majority of the community, of course you will do well. What you've done would be like LeBron James coming out and saying that every high school basketball player should be able to go to the NBA finals if they try hard enough--but totally neglect to mention those players will have to play against him and the other highly skilled athletes of his ilk. If I could guarantee that I would not run into players like you, then I would go flawless just fine. As it stands, no amount of practice is going to make it so that I am as good as you. I can get better, no doubt, but to be able to consistently go flawless is a long shot considering I'm unwilling to give up my teammates (my two best friends) and I'm not willing to pay to get carried. I'll stick here in mediocrity, having fun when I get a wrecking ball with my fusion rifle or a collat with my sniper once in a blue moon. I'll continue to have fun with my new found love for no land beyond and I'll let you and your merry band of asshats sit in your puddles of ball sweat complaining about people wanting Trials to be ranked. It's oh so fun to see so many people so butthurt that their level of skill may be undermined.

Synge_Xにより編集済み: 12/22/2016 8:58:12 PMThere was a change in the structure of trials between year one and year two, this is a fact. After the change, there was a greater number of advertisements for paid carries. The recruitment forum for trials is littered with paid carry ads, this was not the case in year one. I have dug into this phenomenon, as I became disillusioned with constant failed attempts to get to the lighthouse. I began following streamers, playing sweats, and became acquainted with several people involved with paid Carry services. A few things to note are, even when a streamer is advertising a raffle for a free Carry, it is almost always a paid affair... As at any point someone can donate for a VIP Carry. Not at one point, during The many hours that I watched and followed streamers, did I see even one raffle go through, every time someone donated Hard money. If two people donated, a bidding war would start, and sometimes the charges got up to around $70 dollars. One of the guys involved with paid Carries, was a really nice guy, and we started hanging out just playing casual crucible together. He admitted to me that the company that he worked for was started after the change made in year two, to the structure of trials, due to it being easier to manipulate. He also admitted that his company alone, employed over 1000 players, and within their world it was competitive. If players were failing to complete carries, opportunities would go elsewhere, so it was common among his circle that people would utilize DOS attacks... He was recently banned from Trials for this very reason. Currently, he is leveling a new character and has absolutely no reservations about doing the same thing again. All in all, I don't judge him, he's got the time and is able to make supplemental income doing something he enjoys. Unfortunately, based on what I have seen and learned, the current system of trials is corrupt and toxic. One of the saddest things I saw following streamers, was that most of the people who were getting carried, were good enough to go to the lighthouse on their own... They simply did not want to spend hours jumping from group to group, looking for a good team, when they could simply pay for one. Great players being carried, was way more of a common occurrence then the whole trials Sherpa scenarios. If it makes you feel superior to shit on players like me, and spit in my face, reminding me of my inferiority, be my guest. But to say that everyone who is critical of the state of Trials is a salty loser, is a veiled assertion of superiority. I have no horse in this race, as I gave up trial of months ago after witnessing the seedy side of its workings. For me going flawless was a momentous occasion in year one, and I made it a point to go flawless and all my characters and obtain all the cool gear. Beyond the rewards, I enjoyed the competition, as well as the challenge of countering all the creative strategies that players used. Trials was what kept me going during house of wolves. I loved it. Based on how it is structured, Trials is currently just a game mode dominated by elite players, paid professionals, and cheaters. None of which who care anything, about a good match, going to the Light House, or obtaining cool gear. The community surrounding trials currently, is either using their position for pub stomping to pad ELO or worse, Controlling who goes to the Light House for supplemental income. If you think this is cool, or a decent representation of the game, then we simply have a disagreement. However, commonsense will tell you that any bubble based on corruption, or toxic assets will eventually bust. It's only a matter of time.

6 通の返信Southern4x4により編集済み: 12/22/2016 7:42:45 PMAnd all I see on these forums is "top tier" players that cried about facing each other and got Bungie to go to card based MM... because you're all scrubs that actually can't stand competing with someone on your level. Yeah Yeah my KD sucks... play against your peers and your precious KD will suck too. You're the scrubbiest of scrubs... "I'm "top tier" but only because Bungie consistently matches me against players who aren't on the same level. Pub stomping the bottom 50% is how I maintain my status because; in truth, I'd bad mouth and flame Bungie if I actually had to face other top 1% players on a regular basis." I hope your mom raises the rent on your basement apartment.

4 通の返信While I'm at work on break and reading this, I see you are currently streaming. I wish I could practice this much and git gud. I'll have to wait till the get off work. Oh wait, I have a family and obligations outside of work and destiny will have to wait. Point is, my family is my priority. Not a game. What is the harm in locking out the trials pubstompers after they have gone flawless? Oh that's right, they need to make that twitch $$$$

When trials first came out I had a goal-- 5 wins for armor. Slowly the goal became 7 wins for a gun then we could do flawless runs. Trials is about practice, learning communication and map flow. I see a lot of people hoping they change the way trials plays (example: get rid of losses and lose a win when you lose) but these ideas would dull down trials too much. I think if anything just extend trials from reset to reset. Week long would grant more opportunities for casual players or people who work weekends, etc. that's about the only change I would be okay with.

1 返信I've been playing Destiny since Y1 and I've been doing ToO casually too. I'm an above average crucible player and I've reached the LH 10x, mostly in Y1. In it's current state, even if you are an above average player like me, ToO just isn't for you anymore. The population is too low and the current system gives the access to the LH and the right of granting it or not to the 1%. The modification to the system made sense at the beginning of Y2 because the population was so high. If I remember correctly, Derek Carroll said that during the first few weeks only -15% less players then usual didn't make it to the LH. But the more the population goes down the harder it gets because of the current system. Recently ToO has hit an all-time low record population and it won't stop. At least not until Bungie tweaks the system and make it a bit more friendly for new users or the average pvper.

I dont really see a whole lot of people crying about it. I myself would like to see some form of sbmm introduced. Games now just seem very lopsided. Its either my team goes 5-0 or we get beat 0-5. Lots of people like myself simply

dont have the time to invest in getting better. Not to say I am hating on the ones that do, because if I could I would. Im not exactly sure what type of matchmaking settings were used when trials was first introduced, but I do know that games seemed to be much more competitive. Either way I will most likely keep playing. After all trials is still one of my favorite game modes.
