You shouldn't be rewarded for being in last. Wider gates, better handling, and slightly faster. It needs to be removed.

it's a game. It's for teens. I'm a teen myself, but I honestly agree with you, because everyone should have the same ability. But it also, on the other hand, makes it better for newer players, so if they aren't amazing, they still have the ability to finish races and get some of the book done.

7 通の返信I have tested this before by spinning out a few times at the start of a race. I usually end up in the top 3. Just that "everybody wins" attitude sweeping the globe.

1 返信The wider gates are to encourage a more competitive race. It makes everyone work harder to maintain a lead and gain momentum. It allows the newer and probably worse players to still compete, while challenging the more experienced players to hold their lead. If you can't hold a lead, you're doing something wrong, but you shouldn't exactly be punished for it. The gates allow you to fine-tune your skills until you can hold a steady lead. It's a stepladder to promote learning.

1 返信I guess I don't take it as seriously as some, I'm enjoying it as is....don't care where I place. I thought this was supposed to be fun not serious competitive pvp. So what if you get bounced off track or out of a gate or if last place gets a boost. It's a game try to enjoy it.

3 通の返信I've never won a race while lagging behind in last place, and I don't believe the handling nor speed is better. The handling does seem odd though. Sometimes, I handle beautifully and other times, my sparrow won't stop swaying. Sometimes, I do get an incredible amount of speed too and turn like a beast, but I'm normally in first until some random bump on the environment removes any control I had.

3 通の返信I was thinking there was something odd, being 1st by a fair bit but someone always seems to catch up even when I'm playing flawlessly, it's bullshit

4 通の返信When I'm in first the only reasons that make me lose the lead are: a) I -blam!-ed up. b) He/she took the corner better. Never seen someone faster than me while at first (unless he's using a raid sparrow). Also, in most cases, if I'm in second and the first player has a good lead, unless he -blam!-s up or takes a bad corner, I'll never be able to catch up to him. As for the handling, it's been consistent to me

6 通の返信Sounds like somebody's mad about losing a close race. Suck it up. Think of the large gates as "base size". They get smaller to make it more challenging for you to stay in first. Until you're good enough to hit all your gates and run a near-perfect race, quit your whining.

I'm fine with wider gates, the handling changes are what drive me nuts. Any racing game is more fun is there's a chance to catch up after a minor error (or even a big one early on). But getting back into first after being further back for a while really messes with muscle memory.
