12 year old daughter has been playing. She's higher functioning autistic, doesn't understand teamwork, doesn't know how to play Rift and has never played as a Titan before. Yes we've tried to explain it but it just makes a wooshing sound as it flies overhead.
So if you see a female Titan wearing the Superblack shader and Sunbreaker mark running round like a headless chicken punching everything that moves and waving at everyone on the enemy team she's killed, that'll be her.
I'm sorry.
Edit: to all those asking if she's having fun, she's laughing her arse off and having a great time. She just asked me if she could change teams because the other side were losing so badly she wanted to go help them lol *facepalm*
Edit 2: I'm a Brit. Apologising is a national hobby. 😁

I usually have a smartass remark for posts like this and i hate the state of destiny right now but what i read just made me smile and melt. Have a brother with autism. He memorizes maps. Loves seeing where roads go. Thanks for your post.

2 通の返信Glad to hear she is having fun. I hope bungie is doing something right and giving her some good loot for having REAL fun. All I got was a rock. (Seriously. All I got was an artifact that looks like a rock, plus a couple of horrible scouts which will be replaced by the vendor one.)

I haven't touched IB yet this week. If I do it will be in hopes of getting matched just to wave at/with and if on the enemy team get punched by said titan. Being American I might even catch the right timeframe since I start at work at 4 AM. Friend of 11 years and former roommate of about 6 months has a(n adult) younger brother who's just able to handle a job with some oversight from a counselor, can list every star actor/actress in every movie he's ever seen beginning to end alphabetically without pause and most of the time doesn't have any physical ticks, he loves Banjo-Kazooie and similar N64 games and sometimes when he's really focused on something he'll rock in his seat until someone distracts him or brings it to his attention. He has trouble directly engaging with anyone who isn't family, for instance I saw him almost every day, at least 5 days a week for those 6 months and he only directly interacted with me on occasions where he was prompted to by his family, i.e. his brother and I were visiting their parents or picking something up from the house and he would greet his brother and unless prompted by someone else would not say anything to me. Occasionally, he did make eye contact on his own but most of the time if I talked to him alone he would glance in my direction and that was as much as he could handle for engaging back. Family dinners he actually handled very well, addressing everyone at the table and telling them a story about any interesting events that anyone had missed out on. All things considered, I think he handled my semi-random intrusion into his routine for those six months pretty well.

Have 2 autistic sons at home. Oldish is 20 serious ocd and social issues. Next one down is the same end of the spectrum. The youngist lad has adhd. Lots of fun to be had in our house and all play destiny except the youngist. He can't concentrate for long enough to busy with everything to be done right away.

1 返信Wait, apologising is our national thing!? I thought our national thing was being overly sarcastic with everything all the time... Damn I guess I've lived my life incorrectly for 23 years. Also, I don't mind who I play with most of the time, games are meant to be fun, win or lose :)

1 返信As long as she's having fun. But honestly, this is TMI and you may want to protect her and yourself for the trolling that will follow this post.

That is awesome!!! My 6 yr old autistic daughter likes to log on and go to patrol. She will shoot without aiming here and there then find a few nice spots she likes and jump off the edge of the maps over and over laughing her butt off the whole time. Sometimes she just goes to the tower either running around and stopping to stare at people or trying to jump on the ships at the edge killing herself in the process and loving it the whole time. Kudos.
