I still use auto rifles religiously in pve, in crucible, that is another story. Arminius-d is my all time favorite weapon in the entire game, I still use it, however the four nerfs it must carry have deprived it of its use in crucible. Doctrine users ruined the archetype. It is not the guardian's fault, they are just using what is viable, much like the crisis now. They really should undo what Bungie has done.
