2017 April Update Prediction
Ok..... so for a while since the release of Rise of Iron I've been seeing speculation about the April update on this app and Instagram. A couple times now I've seen a picture of a black Vex Mythoclast with SIVA flowing through it (obviously fake) but it got me thinking. The 2016 April update brought us Challenge of Elders, with renewed armor and weapons from the House of Wolves expansion that could now come up to the maximum light, but with a twist. They were taken. That's when I asked myself, what will bungie do this year? I think you know exactly where I'm going with this. They should renew and tweak the Vault of Glass raid but with SIVA and SIVA enemies in the raid. The gear could have the same concepts and names as the original armor and weapons, but with SIVA flowing through them. As for the raid itself, it should have new and improved puzzles and fights for us to figure out. Maybe bungie can finally give us what we want, A YEAR 3 ICE BREAKER. This would be an extremely amazing update, because I miss the Vault of Glass. It disappointed me how bungie made it irrelevant with the launch of the taken king expansion. I would REALLY like to return to the vault. But that's just my prediction. Let me know what you guys think? How could bungie change VoG without ruining it? What else could happen with this upcoming April update?

I wish that all raids could be played not siva or taken, just the same regular raids, but the drops are infusible, drop up to 400, and maybe balanced a little. I mean this game is great, but I don't like how to be the best, you have to all look the same. I'd like to be 400 light, wearing whatever raid or strike gear I want, not all siva

1 返信Well we already defeated siva .. so that goose is cooked my friend .. whatever they do it better be good .. and hard! They make stuff way to easy . I want a challenge . A real hard challenge . Everything in this game is a walk through

1 返信It would just be easier if they did it all. Put infusion nodes on EVERY piece of gear that doesn't. Created packages NOT LOCKED BEHIND A PAYWALL that grants people old gear (3 light or something idc). Updated VoG (-blam!- off Crota) with SIVA Vex to get tier 2 SIVA VoG gear.

How about a rotating raid where each week there is only one raid type and it has different enemies than the original. How about taken captains instead of praetorians in vog. And in ce instead of regular thrall, give us taken thrall or maybe vandals. And each week give us one rng drop and another we can select for boss loot? I know this sounds like prison of elders, but in a raid instead. I would certainly think the rage factor would be off the charts.

If it was to happen it would definitely be an April Update like scenario and it would be all for nothing in the end. Who in their right mind will be grinding Destiny from May 2017 onwards? You'd have to be a sad sad individual to continue to play this game knowing damn well that everything is going bye-bye in September. If people are using the "to tie us over until Destiny 2" excuse seriously need to unhinge from this game from time to time and go play something different or do something more productive. In all honesty it should have happened months ago or no later than the upcoming new year. After SRL we will see the real decline of the Rise of Iron playerbase that has already begun. It has turned from a week long grind to "3 Nightfalls, 3 Raid runs, done" for many. This is not a rant nor hate, I'm just saying it as it is.

Keep Raids the same. Already having to play reskinned content is dull enough, but to MAKE us go back there for a mission but have it "updated" to SIVA? Not a chance. Just do an overhaul on VoG and CE with accommodating Light Level adjustments. THAT'S IT! Now for weapons. Ice Breaker Y3 would be nice. Blacked out version or like Ironized and same with VEX. I like the blacked out Vex concept art version. Now for more realistic update. SRL might be permanent. Loot/stackable loot will be fixed/increased like the Keys and SIVA Offerings. Maybe Vault space? Minor tweaks to PvP for "weapon tuning" and connectivity. HA!

2 通の返信It's very possible that the old raids will come back for the April update (or the Y3 equivalent), who cares if the Mythoclast or Black Hammer come back by then, D2 will be right around the corner and all those weapons will be left behind again. May as well just let us all go ham and basically turn the whole game into Mayhem for a few months where everything is OP.

6 通の返信If vog and crota are brought back, many like me, will see it as a sign that this game is over and it's time to find another until destiny 2.

2 通の返信I can see them bringing back VoG and CE (maybe KF but probs not) but they won't add taken or splicers to them. At most they'll add challenge modes and tweak the elemental primaries.

I think they are going to bring back crota with siva. I think this because of the mission where the fallen are testing siva on the hive. I'm surprised i have not seen anyone speculate on this yet. Chances are they will bring back both raids though. Just my opinion.

It would be very nice if we could play The Vault of Glass again and earn gear which would be relevant to the current Light levels. But I doubt if it is going to happen, Rise of Iron wasn't planned in the first place either.. Have you ever seen the blue colorer Kabr armor set for Titans by the way? I've always wondered what purpose it served, Kabr's armor still is my favorite set. I would love it if they made it relevant again.

[b][i][u]IF[/u][/i][/b] there is an April Update like last year, then Bungie will be saving something like Y3 Icebreaker as a gimmick to suck people back in, among other things. I'm more focused on D2 info now.
