Community Wish List
The [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/140885111?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=0]old post[/url] was no longer showing as pinned. This happens after a post gets too many comments, say 20,000+ for example. This fresh one should be more visible.
Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through. In order to make sure you get your idea seen, post a new topic to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/Default/None/Feedback]#Feedback[/url] forum and add the tag #CommunityWishList. This will give us an easy way to review all of your ideas you would like to be added to the list.
Please remember that this is not a To-Do List for Bungie. We can’t promise that every idea is being worked on actively. Our goal here is to confirm that your feedback has been received. Everything on this list are things that the players of Destiny have repeatedly asked for.

The most annoying thing about competitive is when you que into a match with your friend then a teammate decides to leave, and now your down a man in a 4v4. now you have little to no chance to win and this has time and again ruined winsteakes and removed glory points. most recently this ended a 9 streak in competitve but someone really just had to rage quit after dying once, and now MY glory points reflect that, which is completely unfair and comp cannot penalize losses in which a matchmade teammember quits

1. I'd like a matchmaking system that actually works. Normally I either get to play with teammates that are far below the enemy teams skill level, play against players that are far above my skill level, or play against en enemy team that are far below my (and possibly my entire teams) skill level. In short every game (apart form 4 or 5 games since I started playing) has been that one team is dominating the other team, this makes for a non enjoyable time playing. This is most apparent in the competitive playlist, and speaking of which the glory gain is not skill based it's win based. As a note to this I've been the top player of the game with teammates whom are below the opposing teams skill level and my glory still gets decreased when I lose (I am not surprised that it goes down with a loss but "the glory gain system is skill based" is a load of BS if you can be the person displaying the most skill in the game and then lose glory). 2. Fix the weapons meta. Currently scout rifles and auto rifles has no place in the game (well auto rifles can be used in PvE to some extent) and shotguns are akin to sniper rifles, I have been close to maped by them and close to doing the same to others. Destiny 1 had a much better PvP than the current Destiny 2 PvP, I guess that a "copy/ paste" of Destiny 1s PvP is not a viable option. 3. Customization. Destiny 1 had great customization capability when it came to the characters subclass but with Destiny 2 the aspects of choice has all but disappeared. I'd like a game where you can chose how to build you character from the skills available to that class and subclass (I think that the reason why the choice was taken away is that players chose the best abilities so that the lesser abilities never got used and the developers work weren't "appreciated").

3 years Cozmo.... guns on sparrow .... still waiting, your lucky I’m still playing.. ... ... For those wondering a group of us suggested guns on sparrows and the ability to move ships while loading to amuse ourselves possibly like like playing Astro but nothing from Cozmo ... years later and still nothing....

I really hope that the use of heavy ammo during the invasion in the Gambit mode will be prohibited. This will be the best solution instead of laying hands on the well-known rifle (you know what kind of rifle I mean).

Can we add 3v3 comp to the list this 4v4 stuff has been horrible since release, even if it's just a separate PERMANENT playlist of comp and quickplay like skirmish or elimination those were great and I'm pretty sure alot of the issues people were having with whole teams glued to each others hips and team firing for days wouldn't have been nearly as much of a problem if Crucible was 3v3 instead of 4v4 to begin with especially for people like me who prefer to play very lone wolf even with a full team. I'm also biased since skirmish was my best/favourite game mode in D1 and 3v3 elim Trails was something I could do with ease but survival (which isn't that bad but in a 3v3 form would be better) and countdown (which I personally can't stand probably because it's 6 whole rounds to win should be 3 or 4 like survival and obviously 3v3 would've been better) are way more annoying.

Guided playlists aren't sufficient and take far longer than they should. -Consumable use outside of Crucible, Strikes, and Raids -Better gear score scaling. Players should complete Strikes to be able to have the gear for Heroic Strikes, and you should be able to earn gear solo to prepare for Heroic Strikes. Heroic Strikes should prepare players for Raids. Raids should prepare players for Prestige difficulties and Nightfall. -Earlier unlock of Sparrow -Prototype Engrams earned from leveling up should be able to be opened from anywhere instead of forcing the player to the microtransaction shop. -NPC interactions should be sped up. Waiting a second or so for the NPC to get their first line of dialogue out is a waste of time after you've interacted a couple times. With a single vendor this is annoying, but going to multiple vendors makes it a chore. Time gate is irritating. -Adjust amount of tokens to deposit to reputation vendor i.e. dump 14 tokens at once instead of a batch of ten and then the 4 individual ones. Also speed up animation and process of giving tokens. Waste of time. -Allow scout reports to be purchased from the local leader of a planet. -More uses for glimmer -Option to toggle stat bars or numbers when viewing equipment. There are plenty of things that can be improved. Things are going well, but they can always be better.

The DLC strikes were just missions we've played during the DLC missions. Crucible should go back to D1 Crucible. the (bigger and better) maps were awesome and the plays were incredible! Now its just teamshooting with a overpowered Graviton Lance or Vigilance Wing. Also KA/D / and KD/A should be brought back to KD. Ofcourse there are more things we would like to see in the near future, but if you want the vets back, make things free so the fanbase can grow again :)

We are continuously working to drive out the enemies and it would be nice to see NPC's working to improve areas we are winning back. Possibly show improvements to the areas over a period of time to show the progress we have made. For instance the tower was a step in the right direction when it was rebuilt even better. Only thing I miss and think would be something that would happen naturally in an environment such as this is to have a place like the old Strategy room, where Zavala, Cade and Ikora Ray would collaborate. It would be more fortified and have the technology suited for the timeline we are in the game. As understanding of more and more old world and new technologies evolved so would the worlds we inhabit. This would be a sense of accomplishment and progression all its own.

This list makes me sad. D1 was feeling really epic before focus was switched to D2. Now support and events have been shifted to D2, which in all honesty is a neutered version of the Destiny I once raved about. Player base has been divided and the game I at one time never removed from my console, now is seldom played. I’m not angry or disgruntled, just sad. It’s a shame.
