Very broad statement. You don't need to dedicate your life away to be good at this game. Pve takes little practice to master (I'm talking about raids not strikes...). Pvp can be more difficult but still easily mastered by playing 2 or 3 hours a day. So what's your issue?

There's nothing wrong with having a job or kids or whatever. What's wrong is when you use the argument, "I have a job, -blam!- you Bungie for not handing me rewards on a silver platter." If you're using your job as an excuse on why you can't go flawless or complete a raid, that's on you. If it really mattered to you, you'd make time for it. Good day.

Let me translate for everyone: I am a low light level player who is very angry at the fact that no one will carry me through endgame content. I expect everything to be handed to me with minimal effort on my part, which is why instead of grinding and putting in the hours that a game like this requires, I'm on the forums bitching and complaining that there is a 'mlg kool dude' attitude in the game. Never mind the fact that there are lfg tools available to me in many forms for me to create my own groups with my own requirements. No, why should I make my own group when I can have good players carry me? Anyone with a different opinion than me or who offers me advice or asks a simple question is instantly wrong. I don't put a ton of time into the game anymore either, nor do I care what other people think of how long I spend with a controller in-hand. You'd be doing yourself a favor by ignoring what others say.
