Personally....i hate to say it....but it feels....meh. ive been a fan of the battlefield series for a very long time and was so hyped for the game. Single player is a fun and moving addition this time round.
Operations is a brilliant mix between conquest and rush.
My biggest concerns lies in the multiplayer. It feels like most of the guns are horribly unbalanced. LMGs are reaching far distances and are extremely accurate and the unlock system is a bit of a pain.
Maybe its just me, if i give it a bit more play time ill get used to it. But at the moment, im slightly dissapointed.
What about you peeps? You enjoying the game so far?
Edit: i have played battlefield 1 a little bit more, and i must admit, i was VERY wrong.
The game still has alot of frustrating glitches that have gotten me killed and glitches that are just straight up strange, but ive been having alot more fun.
PS - the mondragón is gorgeous. Nuff said.

I feel the supports are now one of the worst to play. Half the time you get outgunned by either a medic or an assault, even at long range. The point of their weapon is to suppress the enemy and make them fear popping out of their cover. With so little dmg from them the lmgs feel so pathetic in comparison to the other weapons. Even at long range, you can still get outgunned by an assault class weapon (are gun designed for close range, not long range) or just get quickshot by a low zoom scope sniper. Also don't get me started on the mustard gas grenades. You might as well keep your gas mask on the whole game because your characters never going to breathe fresh air again in most games.

I think it's "meh" overall. BF4 was shit at launch, but turned out pretty damn great after DICE LA got their hands on it. BF1's tweaks just made the gameplay a little worse overall. This is my list of gripes with the game: 1. I HATE the new melee system. It doesn't feel like Battlefield anymore, it's more like Halo. In close quarters you're better off ditching your gun and going for melee. 2. Can't sprint from crouch. Why the -blam!- did DICE change this? 3. Parachutes are iffy as shit now and honestly I still haven't managed to even get one to deploy. Tried off buildings, off planes etc. nothing. I just die. And I die from small heights at full health too. 4. They pretty much eliminated my whole BF4 playstyle. Mid-range (20-40m) run and gun with Carbines. None of the weapons in BF1 are good for that. Assault: close range, Support: long range, Medic: long range, Scout: very long range. I say support is long range because the damage is too weak and the new accuracy system on LMGs isn't made for running and gunning. Basically the LMGs are inaccurate as shit for the first several bullets before they start to become pinpoint. This makes tap firing bad too. 5. Gas Grenade spam. -blam!- This. And I hate that gas masks block ADS. 6. Behemoths and Elite Classes are bullshit. They're basically a way to get free kills without actually doing anything to earn them. And the Behemoths are especially bullshit because there's pretty much no counter. You just die when they start raining down fire. It's like a beefed up Mortar that everyone hated in BF3-4. 7. Why the -blam!- did DICE need to IMPROVE the Mortars from the previous games? Now they're unbearable on some maps. Especially in combination with Behemoths and Artillery Trucks, which takes zero effort and teamwork to do. It's just a bunch of players spamming their no skill weapons at the dots on their maps. 8. How long is the actual revive period? Does it last until the next deployment or until I finally get taken to the deploy screen automatically? Because that's a difference of like 7 seconds. Also, are ALL Medics included in the ones nearby or just the ones with syringes? Cause it seems like a lot of players don't revive even when standing right on top of me.

1 返信You cant go into BF1 thinking, "I WILL NEVER DIE I AM GOD" Just accept the fact that everyone dies all the time. k/D means nothing in that game. Hell I play on PC with xbox 360 controller and I have a 1.0 k/d. Who cares!? Theres nothing better than charging up a hill, with your bayonet raised and sticking some poor soul.

8 通の返信My biggest problem is they've made it way too easy to hit people from distance. The maps are so open and there's so much ground to cross, especially on Rush. In BF hitting from distance was -blam!-ing hard, they've gotten almost completely rid of bullet drop. I'm used to BF4 so I've been aiming a little high to account for bullet drop that just isn't there anymore, it's total bullshit. Sniping is far too -blam!-ing easy this way, half the matches are just people running recon and hiding in the bushes blowing you away from outrageous distances. I also think the vehicles, the horse I particular are a little OP, I put a full clip from my LMG into the horse and neither it nor the rider died. One of them should have died, I don't give a -blam!- a which one, but one of them shoukd have gone down. We used to stop calvary with pikes and spears, a -blam!-ing machine gun should do the trick.

4 通の返信Questions: 1: why do the medics from a lot of the nations, from Britain for example, look like arabs with turbans on? Especially when playing the Turks, I always think our medics are enemies. 2: why when a blimp spawns for the attacking team in Operations, it has the defending nations logo?
-
It's great. I find myself dying way too easily in Operations though. Snipers everywhere. It's so awesome to be running forward with your team. And to have so much going on. Planes in the sky. Shells exploding in the air leaving smoke. The sound of bullets whizzing past you.

6 通の返信Haven't played multiplayer, but the campaign stories are awesome. Poignant and terrifying portrayal of a horrific period of history.
-
This game just keeps getting worse and worse. Broken bullet drop that makes sniping way too easy, coupled with the large open maps. Then the melee is all -blam!-ed up. Enemy squad spawns on me as I'm killing his teammate, the guys is literally facing away from me just spawned in, I start to melee him get three confirmed hits, he turns around steps back and burns me with his handgun. Total -blam!-ing bullshit. It should take two melee hits max to kill someone, especially when being stabbed in the -blam!-ing back.

1 返信Lordsa Jar-Jarにより編集済み: 10/28/2016 5:04:05 PMI don't think I've found a fun fps coming on 3 years now. so yeah, it's meh lmgs are an issue, I see way too many players use them, but it's not my main concerns with the game I just put my faith into sp only games now, they rarely disappoint

2 通の返信I cancelled my pre order after the Sinai beta. I enjoyed, even loved St Quentin Scar, but that Sinai beta got alarm bells ringing, it was a boring map. I have Titanfall 2, Doom and Gears 4, they will keep me busy. I may pick BF up in the future.

Due to the time era, the game is limited. Less variety of weapons, attachments, equipment, vehicles, environments, and everything. The variety is one of the best things about Battlefield, so I have no interest in Battlefield 1.
-
I do enjoy the game thoroughly, but after playing BF4 I feel like the weapons are severely lacking. Everything from the weapon choices, sights, attachments, camos... It feels like it's lacking. Of course, they are keeping to WWI weapons so that's probably why but nonetheless. Otherwise, I enjoy the maps for the most part and the gameplay itself is very enjoyable.

AlphaHotel77により編集済み: 10/29/2016 9:51:16 AMThis game (multiplayer specifically) is epic...now I've taken a break from shooters; haven't played a battlefield since 3, CoD got old after MW2. But Im into history so I decided to get this... My god I haven't had this much fun gaming in a while. There literally is never a dull moment online. Disclaimer: I've only been playing 64 player Operations. If u haven't tried it and aren't having fun, please try. There is constant gunfire and explosions, the devs did good adding surrounding noise like people yelling making it sound like an all out war. The atmosphere and immersion is fantastic.
-
I love it but they made some horrible decisions with some things. Freakin behemoths? Seriously? Let's reward the losing team with something crazy op. The hero/kit things suck to go against but they aren't used very much. There needs to be more battalions or soldier tickets rewarded after clearing a sector in operations. I haven't seen anyone ever win while I've defended or attacked. Other than that it's amazing.
-
It's amazing. Just tired of the noobs not doing their jobs though. Assault guys not taking out tanks, having to chase Medics / Support guys for health / ammo, not getting revived. Worst of all is squad leaders never setting objectives. Grinds my gears because you all get so many more points if you carry out the orders, + if you stick together you get extra points for squad avenger / savior etc. But nope every squad leader never sets objectives the whole squad goes their own way. Now I just tend to make my own squad, unlock it and hope people join. So far I've had 1 full squad and by the end of the (conquest) match we had all flags, most of us were top of the board and I had most flags capped.

1 返信Love it. The game is a blast and the WWI setting makes it feel so immersive and makes you feel like you're really fighting a battle

3 通の返信I personally think it's one of the best games ever made. Besides some of the weird guns all of the weapons I've used feel very effective. I actually don't think there's a game that I've enjoyed playing more than this one.
