The amount of idiots with more money than sense.................
It's actually hilarious reading the complaints from people on how much money they've spent on FOTL.
My hat goes off to you Bungie for putting those items behind a paywall. You've essentially made a form of gambling but for minors. Activision and your shareholders must be laughing.
Dont worry guardians I get it - its your money, you spend it on whatever you like. Just dont start complaining when its made clear that you are buying a chance, and only a chance. Its not guarantee and it never was.
Its funny cause this isnt the first time this has happened, and because of the success Bungie are getting from milking some of their player base, guess what............ it wont be the last time it happens
Guardians please stop complaining or just stop spending

Hell if Bungie sold that Ghost Ghost for 500 silver, I would actually go ahead and get silver for the first time just to buy the Ghost Ghost - its fking cool imo
Regarding the whole "this is gambling!" vs "this isnt gambling" debate, its my opinion that this is not gambling in its purist form like in casinos, as you will receive something for the money you put in. whereas in a casino you can spend £20/£30/£3000 and come home with absolutely nothing (apart from regret and remortgaged house lol)

You know what? I spent 50 bucks this time around, and by next paycheck, I'll forget about it when I finish paying for my Christmas present to myself. Money is just an object that brings you temporary happiness until you find it permanently.

No shit, you paid $50 for a few chances to get the *insert item here* it's not a guarantee, like you said. I paid $15? Give or take, because that money sat in my Xbox account for months, I didn't get anything I wanted, no post by me complaining how 'unfair' it is.

It is all cosmetic with no stats or perks. It has no effect on the game and simply adds nothing of value to the game play except a smile and a laugh. It's their money and they can spend it how they choose.

4 通の返信I don't get why people defend destiny's micro transactions. Sure it's your money and sure no one [i]has[/i] to pay for it but that's not a valid argument. Question to all the beta players: how much money did you spend on destiny alone? Because I don't have anything against cosmetics for real money [b]in a free game.[/b] I paid over 140 bucks on the game so I don't want to spend more on cosmetics. Fell free to correct me if you see something different but I hope I'm not the only one who sees it like that.

1 返信Hmm some people spend money on beer, some people spend money on weed, other will spend money on their hobbys, like car parts, paint brushes ect, I think gaming is some peoples hobby and if they have spare cash to spend and feel they want to, I feel they can do what ever the -blam!- they like.

It's gambling in a sense that you are putting in money and hoping for a particular result. I wouldn't say it's pure gambling. But I would also say it is gonna give children and teenagers a taste for gambling before they ever make it into a casino which is just as bad.

Korea made em license the game as a gambling device, or remove the RMAH. [spoiler]Blizz just removed the RMAH from Korean games. there was that much $$ in it.[/spoiler]

I'd love to say we all need to stop feeding the in-game purchase of all games. Unfortunately from what I have seen, people who refuse to micro-buy (like my tight-ass self) are increasingly in the majority. Hey... whatever. If that's the future of gaming, then so be it. But if it's the way it is, Y'all need to stop with the crying about buying a lucky bag and not getting what you want! Last night, was the Family Guy episode where Peter gets to choose between a boat and the mystery box?
