For starters, I can admit I'm no god player in Destiny but I still person above great.
Anyway, I have been warlock "maining" since day 1 and I'm starting to lean towards hunter. This is because I feel that Warlocks (Specifically Stormcaller) lacks. I feel that it relies way to heavily on its super, and that's great because its already super for a reason, but it has no good neutral game. All its grenades are situational and it's melee abilities, let's admit it, they're absolute garbage. I especially feel that players who run transcendence (which is most I assume) are forced to save they're super until grenade and melee are charged, therefore, restricting the player from there potential. Regardless, without Transcendence, the super last 13 seconds instead of 23, who wouldn't make that offer. My main point is that I'm stuck debating whether or not to main a hunter in exchange for a warlock
If you have suggestions please give a why. Thanks
All its grenades are situational and it's melee abilities, let's admit it, they're absolute garbage.
Sees this ... Goes to a stormcaller... Kills someone at sniper range with the garbage melee... Turns off the playstation... Goes to the bathroom... Slices his wrists then goes to sleep... Next day wakes up... Starts playing ... Goes to his Hunter (or Titan) ... Dies to the garbage melee and slices his wrists again... Next day he became a Division player...

2 通の返信No. Granted the grenades suck, but stormcaller has THE BEST MELEE IN THE WHOLE ----ING GAME. And the super lasts longer than the golden age

Storm caller is a good class for add control. If you want a good warlock clasd with good Midvale and super use voidwalker. Find you a voidfang and some legendary armor thst buffs you decipline to 300 and run axion bolts Lance and gift of the void. Your grenade melee and super give you your grenade back in 5 second and regen your health. So dying become a non-issue.

Swiftlockにより編集済み: 10/23/2016 4:29:03 PMYes, the Stormcaller grenades are mediocre, but they're not that bad. Storm grenade is for area denial and for flank attacks on unaware enemies, especially ones on a capture point or heavy crate, and when they work, oh boy do they work. And yes, Stormtrance is just fine. When used correctly, you can wipe out 3 or 4 enemy players before they even realize what's happening to them. And don't even get me started on Amplify + Shotgun shenanigans. It's all about being opportunistic and taking advantage of combat situations at the perfect time. Stormcaller is in a good place right now. It doesn't need nerfs or buffs. At all. It trades off a lot of strengths for a lot of weaknesses, and I think it strikes a decent balance compared to the state of other subclasses like Sunsinger, which is in legitimate need of help.

3 通の返信What I Look Likeにより編集済み: 10/23/2016 1:17:17 PMBecause you're using Stormcaller? I'm a Hunter main leaning towards my Warlock now lol.. Use Voidwalker. You won't ever look back. And as soon as Ophidian Aspect drops, neither will I.
I've got 40+ days of playtime on my Hunter.. maybe 5 between the Titan and Warlock.
I am a hunter, who enjoys warlock. I suggest learning the ins and outs of warlock before moving to hunter. As they are very very different. Personally, I love Voidwalker most, and by far the best neutral game of all the warlock classes. Additionally, the melee on warlocks are probably the best in the game

2 通の返信The subclass certainly isn't the "super OP Bungie plz nerf" monster that some make it out to be, but I don't think it's bad either. It's just very specialized towards throwing Sith lightning around, so you need to play to that and avoid situations where you can't make the most of it. Just my two cents.

2 通の返信what does it matter if it's 13 or 23 seconds if the entire team is bunched up like fools. all you need is 10 seconds.

5 通の返信
melee is garbage

garbage
GARBAGE? You think the Stormcaller melee is GARBAGE?

3 通の返信"melee abilities, let's admit it, they're absolute garbage" ARE YOU HIGH!!!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

1 返信Melee is garbage...... B#tch please you don't know garbage trying being a God damn Titan with T-Rex arms back in year one and almost half a year two. Get the hell out of here with this garbage.

2 通の返信The super and melee are good, but you are correct about the grenades. Stormcaller is in a good place atm.

4 通の返信Warlocks are made to order and rely on abilities to control a battle. Stormcaller is almost solely special oriented. You will tweak it out and engage with caution until you can bust it out. Depending on build expect highs and lows in games. Voidwalker. I only used this from the start. Before the buff it was the most aggressive of the three. This class was made to engage and overpower enemies with various build styles. Expect to have to keep a high pace but the reward is a non stop attack bot. Sunsinger was something I never liked. Was forced to complete missions and ended up loving it. It's very versatile and has more options and range than anything I have played. Unfortunately all the options seem more than most want to spend and many mix up builds and give up. Expect this class to do exactly what you build it for, nothing more or less. Then expect to play your part and nothing more or less lmao. Warlocks are my personal favorite but I have had a blast with all.

2 通の返信If people would team shot the storm caller instead of running away..... then things would go WAY BETTER.

3 通の返信Perpetual charge is great but the melee is strong as for the grenades storm and pulse are powerful but not great

Storm grenade is really effective, I'm always amazed at how many people run right through it dying in the process. go full int and str, switch to bad juju, go super cd for melee, charge faster with teammates and have someone use skorri. You'll have your super really quick. the super melts everything except bosses

7 通の返信Let me put it to you this way. I created a Voidwalker. Deleted him before he reached the Moon, and ran T-T-H until taken King came out. When Taken King came out, I created another Voidwalker. He almost got to L40 before I deleted him, too. Then later on, I created a Stormcaller. Months later, still got him. And Stormtrance is why. That Super is insane electrical death.
