[i]Xavier was slightly amused by this girl's attitude. She is a feisty one, and definitely hot-headed. A mega-bitch too. Xavier stepped down from where he was practicing, cracking his knuckles and exercising his neck too.[/i]
"You sure about that? You are a bit of a volatile one, little girl."

"OH?! I'm more than sure, thank you very much!" [i]Indeed, she was a mega-bitch, and something about her voice definitely suggested that she was just a snobby braggart, nothing too bad. But something else also suggested that she actually knew some sort of magic. Maybe it was both.[/i]

The air around it seemed to be displaced, and made the hand disgustingly angular in every wrong way. The reality around it could not comprehend what he just did. He stopped clenching his hand, which turned the space around it back to normal.[/i]

"Shut up, you insignificant worm! You have no idea of what [i][u]I[/u][/i] am capable of!!" [i]The girl raised up her own hands, and a translucent blue energy began surrounding her hands, reaching down to her arms and eventually, her entire body. The blue energy had a certain aura of power to it, ancient yet possessing a large amount of strength within it.[/i] [i]Although the girl did not do anything with the power that engulfed her body, she did stare right at the man, a look of fury upon her young face.[/i]

[i]Xavier nodded, then brung out his Psionic Amp. He started charging his powers up, the purple energy flowing and swirling between his arms then into his eyes. He then raised his Amp up, the Psionics protruding from him and into Marcia. As purple tendrils flowed into her, they immediately began working on her brain, and would likely [u]terrorise[/u] her. It wouldn't always be successful, though, so he just had to pray that she didn't have a high will.[/i] [spoiler]This skill requires the permission of you to work, obviously.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Nice.[/spoiler] [i]As the tendrils found their way into her mind, Marcia was about to speak before her golden eyes widened, a look of utmost fear etched upon her young, olive-colored face.[/i] "...W-Wha...No...No, no, no!" [i]She began backing away from particularly nothing, her eyes showing intense fear of something.[/i]

[i]"...Fear is the most powerful weapon... And you're seeing it's true form.[/i] [i]Xavier said this, before dispersing the Psionics and holstering his Amp. The purple glow from his glasses were gone now, and he started inspecting them for any damage.[/i]

[i]Marcia suddenly stopped, the look of terror replaced with a look of absolute rage.[/i] "...You..." [i]Translucent blue energy Bethany surrounding Marcia's hands as she raised her left, holding her palm outwards as a large ball began forming. A spear of arcane energy shot towards Xavier, flowing through the wind at high speeds.[/i] (Energy Spear - 100 MP 1250 - 100 = 1150 MP Remaining)

"Hm." [i]He placed his glasses back on, but he let the spear hit him. His 'shadow', that is. Xavier just managed to dodge it thanks to his ability. (Cyphis ability on cooldown, 5 posts) As the hologram dispersed into polygonal shapes, he got up and threw energy of his own in the form of a Psionic energy beam.[/i]

[i]Turning towards the beam, Marcia immediately three two large orbs of compacted energy at Xavier, one hitting the beam, exploding and cutting it off, while the other made it's way to him.[/i] (Arcane Sphere - 50 Mana for 1) (1150 - 100 = 1050 Mana Remaining)

[i]He released another shockwave, much stronger than before this time. It had enough force to push back the arcane orb and sent it flying a direction away from Xavier. (Cyphis ability on cooldown, 3 posts) Xavier then started to rush towards Marcia, placing one of his hands on a weapon holster.[/i]

[i]Pulling out his shortsword too, he slashed at the hilt of her sword to deflect it, a neon yellow and blue trail behind it. He charged up [u]Soul fire[/u] and shot the beam at her at point blank range.[/i]

[i]As Marcia recovered, she felt that she was oddly drained. This was confirmed by the fact that Xavier was holding a purple orb of something in his hand.[/i] "Got some of your blood... Luckily it wasn't your soul." [i]He dispersed it, storing it away for later healing use.[/i]

[spoiler]For this moment only, I'll be using a locked ability to advance.[/spoiler] "Well, looks like you aren't attacking. Well, I'll make you attack!" [i]He launches a palm-sized Psionic ball at Marcia, which most certainly did hit her. But, instead of doing anything harmful to her, the Psionic energy seemed to flow around her, giving her a bit of motivation and sorta... '[u]Inspiring[/u]' her. She feels a bit more powerful than before, but just physiologically.[/i]

[i]In response, Marcia sighed as if she was relieved slightly, although still seeming disturbed. Lowering her hand, she propelled herself towards her opponent and gripped her sword, preparing a swing towards his side.[/i]

[i]Stopping suddenly, Marcia hovered in the air for a moment before beginning to hover around Xavier. She then lunged, swinging at his right hand in the process. Marcia didn't seem to have the intention to kill, funny enough.[/i]

[i]Considering Marcia's lack of combat experience, she fell for it. Yelping out in surprise, she immediately jumped back (or hovered back, whichever), before blushing as if embarrassed. Marcia then drew the gold and steel claymore on her back, sheathing the short sword as she grasped the much larger weapon with both hands. Once more, she flew towards Xavier, swinging with a slower, yet heavier and probably more deadly weapon.[/i]
