That being said, my friend and I need people who are willing to help. What are we building? A Fallout themed world (set in Michigan, 2290) with Raiders, Scientists, Knights, the Brotherhood of Steel, and so much more. Now here's where you come in. There are two things you can currently help with: Help build. and Play test the "City". Helping to build is simple enough, but what is play testing the City? The City is meant to be an all out warzone. With 2 main teams (The Raiders and the Brotherhood) and numerous other groups, it will be huge. The city takes up a decent amount of the map already and we have plans for more. If you want to help play test, PM me or comment below. If you want to build, I would like you to be somewhat committed and on enough to help me get some work done. I don't care about your building skill, I can use any help I can get. So, if you want to help in that regard, PM me or comment below. Story (Warning, Very Long.) [Spoiler] War. War never changes. In the year 2048, a sudden growth of oil attracted a number of large companies to North Mighigan, in what was known as the Champlain Oil Rush. What used to be old, empty space for southern tourists was soon bought out by the Oil Industry, to be used by the oil laborers, and their superiors. By the year 2064, the oil had run practically dry. With not enough oil to fund the continuation of their northern project was available in Michigan, the Industry's Leaders left, to areas such as Alaska, leaving behind both their machines, still in working order, and their laborers, of whom were now jobless. In the year 2077, nuclear war struck. Very few were able to make it to the local Vault, Vault 43. Vault 43 was made for the laborers, the lower class, and the idiots, to push them to their physical maximum, and beyond, as though to create an Army for America once it opened. However, it never did. The Overseer never received the call on his radio giving him the all clear to open the Vault, and therefore, as to be loyal to his superiors, it remained shut. The current fate of the residents of Vault 43 is unknown, but by rumor, they are considered dead. In the year 2286, a small town in North Michigan, known as New Champlain, had discovered a new growth of oil. An old drill that used to only bring in a few liters a day was now bringing in seemingly endless oil. Rumors quickly spread. In 2288, a group of united raiders captured the old northwestern desert, which was filled with oil drills. Calling themselves the Oil Republic, they sought to keep it only for themselves, for their own profit, and for power. Anyone who got in their way was to be eliminated. Later that year, a small group of the Republic, more peaceful than the rest, snuck out, and captured an old Oil Rig to the south. Calling themselves The United, they sought to share their wealth with all people, so they could use it both for survival and for their own profit. Despite their friendly goals, they still aim for one thing: the elimination and purging of the Oil Republic, no matter what cost. In 2289, news arrived at the Brotherhood of Steel that there was Oil growing in the North. Elder Maxon sent a small crew to assure that all was going well, and that no power was going into the wrong hands. Upon arrival, they claimed an old mine to the northeast. They were quick to make friends with The United, and made it clear they were enemies with the Oil Republic. However, the power of the two groups was still not enough to conquer the Republic. The Brotherhood also had no way to contact their superiors in the Commonwealth, and by 2290, they were presumed dead, however, a message from a Caravan did reach the Brotherhood back in the Commonwealth, with the trader speaking of the horrors of the Oil Republic, and how they would soon conquer all of North Michigan if left unended. Now, despite still believing their agents are dead, the Brotherhood now knew of the large threat to the North. In October, 2291, Elder Maxon sent two agents to discover the fate of the Brotherhood in North Michigan, and to defeat the Oil Republic.
