I just want it to be changed to:
"Defy extinction, o bearer mine."
This will make the exotic more lore friendly to the Ahamkara c:
Also can the Ahamkara please have a presence in Destiny in more ways then just exotics? o:
Maybe for year 3's version of the April Update? o.o
They aren't ahamkara and only ahamkara should have 'oh bearer mine'
Well, since they look like they have a Skull of Dire Ahamkara on one of the knees, and the sides look like Young Ahamkara's spine... I'd say they are from Ahamkara Plus this: http://www.destinypedia.com/Ahamkara
again, neither of those is official canon. if bungie ever says they are, I will agree. but using non-canon, non-endorsed descriptions from third party sites is not proof. I am not saying the argument can't be made. they do seem to fit the aesthetic, but they could also be any of the plethora of life that came into being under the traveler's light.

Ok, I read it and saw that you tried to say that Ishtar Collective isn't a reliable site.
What? It's a good way to find the card you're looking for, and even bundles them up for you if you're looking for something specific, like in this case, Ahamkara. For it to be unreliable would mean the grimoire is unreliable.

Felt like a paid endorser in that spoiler.

Buy Doritos!
The Wardenにより編集済み: 10/5/2016 8:18:31 PMYea, I'm still figuring out the site. Learned about it only yesterday. Edit: Ok, I'm not seeing anything about Eao except for the fact that we habe his Bones and his Scales.
Hmmm...I wonder what species' bones are normally used for making Exotic armor...
-
I guess they would both be Feathered and Scaled... dumb. Sources- [armory]Claws of Ahamkara[/armory] clearly feathered [armory]Ahamkara Scale[/armory] so, could be that EAO is Ahamkara, but without direct statement in grimoire, the evidence is still circumstantial.

ValiancyPSにより編集済み: 10/5/2016 11:26:52 PMI'd just like to jump in and say Eao is 99% likely to be an Ahamkara. This is noticable from the style of bones used, the presence of Ahamkara in the lore, and other factors. Even the Scales. A point that hasn't been stated is that when these boots were in development they were called the "Unremarkable Bones", with the description "Surely the Warlocks cling to these fossils for a reason. What could it be? Oh bearer mine?" "Oh bearer mine" is the phrase the bones whisper to you when you wear them. And only Ahamkara use the "oh [bearer] mine" phrase. Although bearer gets changed out depending on the context.

ValiancyPSにより編集済み: 10/6/2016 8:51:02 PMLeaked concept: http://www.product-reviews.net/2015/01/14/destiny-unremarkable-bones-triple-jump-a-game-changer/ It has it's own gamepedia page (note it was probably removed from most sites when Bones of Eao came out: http://destiny.gamepedia.com/Unremarkable_Bones All House of Wolves leaked exotics: http://www.accelerated-ideas.com/news/destiny-house-of-wolves-dlc--new-exotic-armour-and-weapons.aspx As you can see the Unremarkable Bones changed thumbnail, name and description before release but retain the same perk. These boots were changed to the Bones of Eao at a later time. Now due to this conversation going as it has (and taking into account your conversations with others) I still feel like I wouldn't be able to change your outlook no matter how much proof is posted. I really don't understand how you cannot see the resemblance of Ahamkara bones. You haven't told us why you feel they aren't Ahamkara besides your prolonged fact that "oh it isn't confirmed". They are obviously Ahamkara. Take a look at the Sealed Ahamkara's Grasps, the Young Ahamkara's Spine, the Dire Skull of Ahamkara, and you can see the utter simularities between each and every one of these pieces. Sure you said that the Claws of Ahamkara have feathers and no scales when talking about the Scales of Eao hunter artifact. However creatures can both have scales and feathers. Maybe none that exist in the modern world but in a fantasy setting of course this is a possibility. You can't just say every single site is untrustworthy because most/all of the information is taken directly from the actual game. I know! Mind blown! I would like you to explain how rational all your arguments are before criticising anyone elses. And next time take a minute to research our arguments yourself instead of asking for "proof". Don't make us work hard for you.
