We need a DLC that DOESN'T end happily. Crota has risen? Yeah, he's dead. That's over. Oh, Skolas? Yeah, let me just tie a ball and chain to him real quick. Oryx? What, he's pissed we killed his son? Don't worry, I got this. We need something that will change the universe permanently, not just seasonally. Yeah we have taken events (which are annoying as hell) but we killed their leader, the threat is gone. Now it's just a matter of cleaning up. When the fallen splicers come along, I'm sure the taken will be long forgotten. What if they started and we had 3, 4 or even 5 way battles? What if the raid boss wasn't actually the big bad? What if our impending doom was still lurking overhead, constantly taunting us and everything else in the universe? What if the raid boss WAS the big bad, but he somehow managed to escape, with promise to return stronger? I realize that's what Oryx did in a story mission then we finished him off in the raid, but like I said, now we're just the clean up crew. I personally think we need more tragedy in this game. Damage our ghost, make us FEAR something, hell even turn the exo stranger on us. Just something to make us FEEL the game, FEEL what our character is going through. Make us really want to kill something and wen we get close, rip it out of our reach staggering us along the way. Make us feel betrayal. Well that's my rant. Feel free to debate in the comments.
