Im tired of shotgunners complaining about sniping and snipers complaining about shotguns. Honestly snipers don't have any room to say shotguns are OP because shotguns got extremely nerfed to the max. And snipers have yet to be touched only thing bungie nerfed on snipers is ammo which really isn't a nerf. That being said I'm tired of people complaining about primaries not being able to compete with snipers. Sniping does take skill its not easy. But yet there are as many sniper users as shotgunners. What bungie needs to do is buff shotguns back to where it was before that insensible nerf. That way it balances the shotgun users vs snipers. So what more people will use shotguns who cares. The weapon class is in chaos because its inconsistent and its way too hard to aim shotguns period in this game which doesn't makes sense missing shotgun shots point blank in front of anyone. Snipers have been consistent since launch. There aren't any sniping phantom bullets if so its rare cases that may be based on internet issues. It kills me when i see another baby on bungie forums crying for a shotgun nerf and they recently got nerfed to the ground. Either restore shotguns back to normal or leave them alone. Or at least fix these phantom shotgun pellets that happens like every time i risk my health bar and rush only to get body shot by a sniper and finished off with a primary.

It's a matter of 'the right tool for the right game mode', and clearly, those who are too proud to drop their weapon of choice bitch about the prevalence of the other in game modes not supporting that weapon type. IE, Shotgunners complaining about Snipers in Trials, and Snipers complaining about Shotguns in Control.

Snipers need either a sway or a descope feature when they get shot. Shotguns are fine or could even use a tiny buff. This is coming from a sniper. I'm sick of peppering a sniper with high cal rounds and they still get a headshot.

Bump to the F U C K I N G Max ! Shotguns are the most inconsistent weapon class in the game phantom bullets .. You can shot someone point range and not get a kill shot package needs to be brought back you even move slower with a shotgun equipped

2 通の返信I have to respond again to this because so many ppl miss this. Sniping now is harder than its ever been in destiny. Period. The reason it's more prevalent is because primary weapons have all been nerfed to dog shit. In a game where the main weapon had the slowest kill times, but other tools allow for insta kills, those tools is what payers will master. More and more ppl are sniping because it's a quick kill and it's pretty safe. Buff primaries back to yr 1 status and bye bye snipers. The community asked for this. With posts just like this one about something else. When you nerf the shit out of one thing, the next takes its place. Right now the meta is sniping and shotguns. I mostly play control, elimination and occasionally trials , trials and elimination are the only modes sniping takes over, in control I'm almost always killed w shotguns.

Snipers are more against scouts pulses. It's all about effective engagement range. With shotguns and snipers the tradeoff is enhancing that range. So it's more an indirect balance. It would be more effective to change more direct counters or for me nerf sniper ease of use heavily especially when under fire since it has very few direct counters

32 通の返信No offense, but it doesn't matter what you say. Shotguns always have been, and still are, the more effective, most consistent special weapon there is. Good teams have more shotguns than snipers. Why would we buff a special weapon if it's already the best? Maybe you could improve the handling, I'd be ok with that. But increasing the range? That's a little ridiculous. And snipers have been changed. They have: -Increased ADS time -Increased zoom on all low zoom scopes The ADS time alone is a pretty significant change if you ask me. I use both shotguns and snipers pretty regularly, so I don't consider myself to have a biased opinion.

Shotguns have to be nerfed because most of the community are quite bad at intense close quarter fights but find snipers should be left alone to hardscope with body shots forever in the distance. Btw those changes mean nothing, shortgaze and ambush are still amazing sights to use, it's like the zoom did nothing to them and snapshot was affected, not the ads on quickdraw. But hey, it's okay, most of these snipers were farmed in Year 1 so let them enjoy their snipers that will never be nerfed because "it takes skill bro".

Party Crasher is the problem when it comes to shotguns, it's to good. Can kill up to 5 ft away easy, and that's with a crap roll (I use one so I know) it needs to be balanced. It's not. Other them that I think shotguns are fine. Snipers need more flinch when being shot in the face. But your right, sniping is really hard. It takes skill.

2 通の返信Exactly. I mainly snipe and my recent kd is a 5.2 and i dont die by shotguns hardly ever. Peoplr likr me who snipr cant complain about shotguns (shotguns are netfed to the ground) and peoplr with shotguns cant complain about a sniper one headshotting you. Suck it up and play people.

By the way, snipers have been nerfed rather than just ammo. Equip time, zoom time, scope zooms changed, etc. Get the facts right.

There is not other way to reliably aim without ads, while shotguns can be hip fired accurately. It may be better to aim but not all encounters require you to aim a shotgun. If you feel shotgunning is "to hard" in Destiny you aren't playing right. Shotguns already rule in most playlist. Primaries are the problem. That's it. Specials are not. Primaries are. Fix that, you will see less snipers, less shotguns and a better pvp.
