Unless they buff Auto Rifles, and primaries in general, it's probably going to be trash, as much as it hurts to say. Edit: Even if the pulse and scout modes are good enough to make up for how terrible AR mode is, the weapon will still have to be mediocre, because if Bungie actually made such a weapon powerful and worth using then it would definitely break the "one gun to rule them all" argument that they used to discontinue elemental primaries.
