Nice. A lot of people love Forza Horizon because it is more arcade like that Motorsport but now people will get to try the more technical side of Turn 10's game.
Horizon 3 is going to be awesome though. I believe it is the first Play Anywhere title. I'm excited!

Very true that the Forza Community in main are quite divided between the Motorsport and Horizon camps exactly for what you wrote. I was sceptical of Horizon too before I played it but then loved it and the sequel more so. Great few weeks for those not sure with the free play days for Forza 6 and Forza Horizon being free. =}

Forza Community is about to grow. Generally Forza fans don't really leave because, well, it is the best racing game as of right now for many reasons. The more people who get to try it the better, the only issue is that it is Horizon 1 which is free rather than Horizon 2. There was a huge step up in open world size from 1 to 2 and not just map size, explorable map size. In 1 you were generally stuck to the road but in 2 you could go effectively anywhere. I feel that 2 is a better representation of what 3 will be but it probably won't affect some people too much.
