My disc is broke
Yea I moved my Xbox while the game was running and it made a funny sound and now the disc won't read I tried rubbing toothpaste on it but it won't work any1 know how to fix plz

2 通の返信by all reports today, Destiny vanilla appears to be free on Xbox and PSN right now. Probably need to delete Destiny from your console, download destiny off the store and re-download all your DLC inc TTK + patches. Let me know if this works for you as I would like to do it myself

2 通の返信I think the first issue is that you bought an Xbox. The console isn't actually meant to play disc in any position but the standard position. Seriously, even MS said the Xbone wasn't meant to read discs while standing.

3 通の返信Put it in the microwave for about 2 min it'll soften the scratches and make it readable. I've done it before

1 返信You'll have to buy a new copy dude, no way around it. I would just buy the digital copy though. So the next time you move your console. . . while it's powered on. . . with a game inside it. . . which is Destiny. . . You'll still be able to play your favorite game. Sorry for your loss.

Fixing a game disc by someone you don't know will rip you of cause they just gonna use toothpaste...to really fix disc is to melt it down smoothly where it crack or scratch...buying those disc/game fixer products are Not worth it (use them in the past to fix a few CD's & PS2/PSX games but they never played or work properly.) But your pretty much f**k, all the data are recorded on the clear plastic part while the reflecting metal sheet (whatever it's called) plays back the b-side of a track (layer)...i can't put this laymen's terms just follow the link - https://www.clir.org/pubs/reports/pub121/sec3.html

2 通の返信Could you just buy the basic Destiny? It's quite cheap now. I would imagine it would work as you already have the DLC'S installed.

2 通の返信Theres a small chance one of those disc-fixing machines some game shops have could fix it. Unlikely, but worth a shot for the few bucks/quid it costs to use. If not, RIP
