Fraid you've got things turned around. Sony didn't offer money to bungie for exclusives... bungie offered exclusives to sony for money, and sony accepted. This is after bungie was rejected on the same deal by microsoft, whom bungie approached first. Which means microsoft is the one the xbox players should be angry with over the exclusivity deals for passing over the opportunity in the first place.

i dont know dude. Alot more people play on xbox than you think. Say this is the incident that broke the camels back and made xbox fans not buy destiny 2. "Great" you may say "destiny is marketed more towards ps4 anyways so just make it fully exclusive" That is alot of revenue they would lose out on just specifically from this. Lets just give some xboxers the benefit of the doubt. There are some hardcore bungie fans that still would take everything bungie says as holy law and stick with them and buy destiny 2. Say roughly 10% of the total xbox population stays because of this said hardcore fandom. Any business can see a 90% drop off as a huge financial loss. Am i making any sense with this? If not i really do not feel like getting into the nitty gritty of economics here. Anyways. Just liten to the latest pd podcast. Even they are upset over the exclusivity. They are playstation players. They see what bs it is. I honestly think half of the people on these forums just want to troll and stir up the xbox players just to get a laugh at our expense.

Not sure why you think I wouldn't understand anything you said. The company knows it will have some loss, but they are smarter than use, most Xbox users will cave in. Hell ps4 player's would if the position was reversed.

I honestly do not think so. With something like this happening what is stopping bungie from making a ps exclusive raid? A playstation exclusive expansion in general. And market it like hey preorder blah blah blah and no let on at all till the last minute. They would announce it is exclusive to playstation only and it would just eviscerate what is left of the xbox fanbase. I admit that is true. They are pretty smart. They wrapped up the extended exclusivity in a neat little package with custom matchmaking wrapping paper. They were hoping we wouldnt see it till after everybody preordered so they would be scott free. But news broke about it before some xbox players preordered. ( a few of my fellow weekly raiders for example.) They failed to accomplish what they were hoping to do and it made them look really crooked. This information is out there now and enough xbox players are more than enough done with this game. They just needed that little push to set them over the edge. I do not expect to see as many xbox players let alone my friends or even myself buying destiny 2. Not after this stunt.

dirty_pirate_80により編集済み: 8/20/2016 6:57:16 AMOnly time will tell. Maybe they might try and make up for it. Believe it or not ,Xbox fans boycotting Destiny will hurt Microsoft also. No Sony won't care, but Destiny brings in money for them also. So I predict something will happen, that will at least some what please Xbox players.

Hey you can be supportive of all the shady things you want. But as my grandpa used to say "If you sleep with dogs do not be surprised if you wake up with fleas" These same business practices could one day turn around and bite you in the...
donkey
catrodsanにより編集済み: 8/20/2016 6:22:42 AMThe problem is... It's just a video game. So it doesn't really matter to me. My world doesn't resolve around it. I don't care for exclusives. I understand I didn't pay for them It's not a shady practice. They didn't break their contract or their laws. I'm a freelancer and I'm very thorough with contracts. I actually read The EULA and what I'm agreeing to. Unlink the majority of people complaining here about things they agreed to. If I ever get into a business dealing with Bungie I know what I need to do to protect me. As a consumer, I know what I paid for and agreed to. Something a lot of people here don't take the time to do.
