What System Do You Play Destiny On?
I have been reading through threads this morning, and came across [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/211194345?sort=0&page=0]this one thread in particular[/url] in which a forum member is upset over the move from legacy consoles. Now, I am currently a legacy console player as well, but I plan on making the move to a current generation once the weather starts getting colder; so don't assume this is some sort of hate thread bashing Bungie.
I am just wanting to see how many members are playing on current generation systems V.S. legacy systems, only to have a reference point for anyone in the future that claims most people play on legacy consoles. I feel that statement couldn't be further from the truth, and all of you can prove it! As a side note, even if you plan on upgrading, please vote for what system you are currently playing on.

[spoiler]BTW, I am a legacy console player. I play on the Xbox 360, but will be upgrading to a PS4 towards the end of the year. For those of you that still do not understand the reason why legacy consoles are being left behind, I offer this thread of information. Why hold back the newer generation consoles [spoiler]those who invested their money into more quality games[/spoiler] So that you can get a free pass and keep the game from evolving into something better [spoiler]if you can't understand, basically why waste [i]our[/i] money because you're too stubborn to switch[/spoiler]

I find it funny that as of this writing, exactly [b]343[/b] people voted legacy. The meaning of that number shouldn't be lost on the Halo community. ;)

6 通の返信PS3 here. Bungie could at least keep the Gear Manager for legacy users. The in-game method to move equipment between chars is unbearable.

4 通の返信Yo I'm on 360! I had a really good Destiny account with a bunch pf 334-335 characters. However I had to close my account for reasons that I don't feel like sharing. So I made a new one and could use some help through Raid and CoE. I will also be switching to the PS4 after I take 1-2 of the SATs

4 通の返信PS3 here. Up front (pre-rant) i'm upgrading to PS4. I totally understand leaving old gen behind, but.... for a dlc, i would be interested to know how much the developers could actually achieve, given the source code wouldn't be fundamentally changed (please note that comment is genuine interest - thoughts/comments would be welcome). Totally makes sense to leave old gen behind for destiny 2 where the coding can be written "from the ground up". [spoiler]on a side note, it's really annoying not being able to use the companion app or bungie.net to manage gear - takes me back to year 1! 1. Go to tower 2. Go to vault 3. Change character 4. Go to tower 5. Go to vault 6. Start playing! Lol :)[/spoiler]

I understand they need to move on for the game, but why did they need to change the app and lock legacy users from their characters disabling the item swap. That's a pretty hefty statistical sample size you've amassed. 5.75% is too small to legitimize siphoning assets to support old gen. Those systems came out in 2005, which is about 20 lifetimes for tech, so they've had an amazing run, but the race is over. Time to move on.

10 通の返信I play on my ps3 but now since bungie has taken away a very useful tool via your app all because its now a legacy platform. Way to be greedy. Thats like tryna force gamers to get a ps4 and then pay that yearly or monthly payment BullSh××t just to game online are u kidding me. Ps shame on you. Its not kool. I kno i wont be on destiny anymore after all this wrong unfair updating bias.... Sad... Sad.. Sad..
