The first step to getting better is to admit you've been outplayed
I'm focusing on casual PvP and not trials when I say this. This is just my opinion, but I honestly believe that the weapons you choose for your load-out are only half the battle to winning in the Crucible. People need to stop crying to Bungie to please nerf everything that kills them. That weapon your opponent is using is not the issue . . . . . you're getting outplayed. I'm not talking about opponents with red bar connections and lag switchers because that's obviously out of your control. It seems like people wanna blindly flock to meta weapons. If I can just get that god rolled whatever then I will be swimming in the W's. Your core first person shooter skills will win you the game. Can you traverse the map fluidly and juke? Are you aware of choke points? Can you predict where the opponents will be based on what control points are capped, who just died etc? Is your aim solid to where you can land consistent headshots? Do you blindly run towards the radar ping? Do you use grenades and equipment effectively? If I constently keep getting killed by Joe Blow using his The Last Word/Longbow combo then guess what? He's outplaying me and every death will be a bit of lesson to me. I've been testing Green and Blue loadouts in the Crucible, and the results have been nearly the same as if I had chosen Legendaries and Exotics to use. I'm an average player but do manage to go positive consistently. Just find weapons that you click with and learn from your mistakes guys. No tears, only fun now.

3 通の返信All supers need to be close to equal. Blade dancers and warlock storm callers just eat bullets. All the rest 2 shot with mida.....thats BS.

1 返信Preach. The people who blame everything on lag are the same types of people who blame the refs for every loss. Does the Crucible have some problems? Absolutely. But I'd say at least 95% of the time you're killed it's because you got outplayed.

Ackrodisiacにより編集済み: 8/17/2016 10:57:45 PMSo I was doing elimination earlier and noticed one member of our team was only lvl 10 with 30 light. Using green shotgun and white guns. One member of our team left so that made the whole game a 3v2 I got sniped straight off the bat playing bannerfall. However mr lvl 10 went round and systematically took out all three. We went 3-0 up but lost heavy round. Then won the match 5-1. Mr 10 light gets a 13kd Played the next match and unfortunately he was on the other team. I knew the script tho and put on my try hard pants. We lost but mr 10 light smashed the leaderboard yet again. Checked his kd through the app, and he's already rocking a 3.6 kd in crucible. I mean is this wish you luck or some other streamer trolling us? Insane especially with those guns. Which goes to show, God roll guns don't turn bad players into good players. They just make great players a little bit better. Check the recent games on my hunter. The last two elimination matches. It's all there!

1 返信when i get the first shot off and get hit by a sniper body shot and a primary finished. i didnt get outplayed. i got -blam!-ed over by the broken snoper body shot damage

Yes I am truly outplayed when I can lead lobby for couple matches with 2+ kd, than magically fall to a .4 with 20 assists while still playing original lobby. If telling myself my aim was just off will make me better I'll try it. Lol

I'm average at best. I get outplayed all the time. I feel like connections can be really wonky in this game though. One game I feel like I'm shooting magic bullets and the next I can't hit the broad side of a barn. Destiny PvP is a very inconsistent experience for me. I hope that they invest is dedicated servers for Destiny 2. All the other AAA shooter titles have them.

27 通の返信But when you have a shotty-shoulder charge Titan who can run through every single one of your bullets and kill you like nothing, or when you shoulder peak a sniper to bait out a couple shots and get wrecked through the wall (plus not to mention how insanely easy it is to get head shots in this game compared to other fps'.) Or when you get killed by other snipers like the party crasher or the warlock melee, you come to realize that it's not the meta weapons that make crucible to worst pvp experience I have ever played (and yes I have played Call of Duty Ghosts) it's the core mechanics of the game and bungie refuses to fix. So no, I have not been outplayed when I see that a shoulder charge killed me after he sponged about 50 bullets. Feel free to tell me how wrong I am, I love seeing bungie fan boys defending a broken pvp system!

7 通の返信If it wasn't for the exotics such as mida an so on that are that class of weapon no nerfs would have ever been given out. Now people beg for nerfs because everyone an there cousin are handed an exotic instead if working for it like me an my friends that worked for exotics in the game. Doing the quests for them earning it playing the game without help co.eing back to the tower in damged gear an being up a better gun earning the right to say this is an exotic gun that says I'm better then you. Now it's ever pristine noob getting never once fighting like a demon to get something just gets handed exotics an says I'm better then you then sometimes immediately gets there asses handed to them. Bring back exotic quests an force everyone to work for a gun make them solo quest unless you have to go threw a strike to get it done. I'll admit when I'm out played but when people use snipers an sit around an wait or people use a crutch gun such as mida an so on it makes the game unplayable cause people that use them don't use any other gun. I don't use exotic weapons in pvp unless I have to I use exotics in pve. Anyways I dont want my opnion to be an argument cause this is my third post after loseing my great grandmother an I just won't argue with people at this point in time if you want to have decent discussion then by all means please reply but if your just a jerk who is only on here to insult other an so on please don't respond cause I'm not dealing with you an I will make sure you are gotten rid of.

You are correct, there can be no excuses. If you want to be amongst the best, then you have to accept that you are just not good enough. There are those few Guardians amongst us that are naturally gifted, but for the rest of us, the path to glory, is long and arduous. Many of us will never reach the summit of our expectations, but that does not mean that we cannot learn, and become better Guardians along the way.

It's not a 'better player' when then shoot and the bullets come through the wall and continue to cause damage, its bad programming. Cover is cover and, since armor piercing rounds no longer penetrate anything thicker than sheet metal, they shouldn't be coming through support beams or rock walls. But they do because the bad programming allows the bullets to reach their target although the target is protected because the game has a cone hit radius which disobeys the 'cover' rules. In simple language: you are hit because the bullet hit radius overlaps you although you are behind an impenetrable solid. The moment you reach cover, that hit radius should negate, it doesn't, so continuing to fire at me allows hits defeating cover. That's bad programming, not outplayed by a better player. And, this is the rule exploited in Destiny, not the exception. Many times you see bullet paths originating from angles that allow the bullets to reach you although the shooter is not the point of origin. They appear as if the bullets are coming from 'thin air'. That's the bad programming adjusting the visual bullet path to allow a hit, that shouldn't be possible. It's not being outplayed, it's being out-programmed. Dead players can't shoot! Grenades can kill you after the opponent died, but, the dead opponent can't shoot his gun to get a postmortem bullet kill. It's bad programming, not being outplayed. We both have the same shotgun with the same impact and range, you fire, I fire, you score a kill and I score minimal damage. I'm not outplayed, bad programming allows who fired first to get the kill although we both should have died. I animate a Nova Bomb, you Bladedancer me, I'm dead but my animation proceeds and you are bombed by a dead Warlock. You weren't outplayed, you were out-programmed by bad programming! I Nova Bomb, you Smash, blast kills you in mid animation (in the air, smash not created yet), animation proceeds and I'm killed by a vaporized Titan whose smash is impossible. I'm not outplayed, I was killed by bad programming! Yes, there are times when a player is outplayed, but it should never be because of bad programming 2 years into any game!

3 通の返信I shouldn't get headshotted by a sniper in shotgun range. They need to change how snipers work and lower the EZ aim.
