So, I was thinking that a trading system could be implemented for people who are running the raid together.
This trading will only be active for 1 hour from the moment the gear is acquired.
Only weapons and armor gained from the raid can be traded.

I originally said no, but I'd be on board with a Trading System with the following provisions: -No exotic trading. -No endgame gear trading (Trials, Raid, Challenge of Elders lol, etc) outside of the party you were with for completion of activity, and only until you leave the fireteam. -No "special quest item" trading (Crux of Crota, exotic sword resources, etc). -Faction gear is okay (ships, shaders, weapons, armor) but no exotic class armors. -Make sure both traders know exactly what is being traded (quantity of consumables, light level and perks of gear, etc). -No special event items or gear (SRL, Festival of the Lost, Crimson Doubles, etc).

I would be ok with it as long as it was done in some way so that people couldn't sell their actual weapons for real money. However, I doubt that would be possible. I would almost rather they just get rid of the junk perks on weapons. Getting a weapon drop you have been grinding forever for and then getting garbage perks is pretty heart breaking.

Make Destiny have a trading? Go ahead then I'll go to my kiosk start duplicating my Iron Gjallahorn along with others exotics and sell them on e-bay. I post the item, players who wants it see them. We make contact and agree with price, add each other on friends list then make the transfer = profit! See? So answer is Destiny does not need a trading system. Or if you insist then go ahead, I could start a business from this.

3 通の返信Nope. What's the point of an rng loot system if I can just trade away what I got for whatever I want?

Someone can and will find a way to abuse this system, not to mention that there still isn't enough loot in Destiny to make for a stable trade economy to begin with.

I would be fine with trading materials freely, and possibly gear that is earned while together. I.e. you are in a raid together, both present for and eligible for a loot drop and you can trade with that person. But I am against openly and freely trading gear. Just me though.

NO. It would break the game and there would be complaints about people who got cheated or fooled out of an item they thought they were getting but got something else instead or their kid traded something. And then people saying to pay attention to what you're trading and blaming the OP (not you). I can already see it now.

Back when it was RNG, I didn't, because finally getting that drop that you've been waiting a long time for was exhilarating. Doing raids or POE or whatever multiple times a week to try and get exotics was a blast. Now that it's all down 3oC and I couldn't give a flying... I get that 3oC is also RNG, but it has a completely different tone, then playing Atheon or Crota and seeing that one thing finally drop. That's just me though.

At launch I did due to the unfair engram drops (give my first exotic a Titan alpha lupi despite me being a hunter? And give my Titan friend a hunter knucklehead radar? Screw that!!!) But now you get gear for YOUR CLASS more often, so I don't think it's necessary anymore.
