I don't think it's a matter of support or non support. Personally after watching how poorly the movement has been lead and all the negative impacts stemming from that single thing, I think it's not accomplishing it's stated goal.
That being said I don't think you have to support the movement to support seeing wrongful deaths at the hands of officers be addressed. And I also don't think addressing that issue means being anti cop and not supporting our police force who do a good job.
It's individuals who are to blame, and I regularly see people both for and against BLM who commit the hypocrisy they accuse the other of regularly. Whether it be lumping all cops together with one man who betrays his badge, or lumping every protestor together with a person who behaves reprehensibly.
