I want to make videos on YouTube, but I don't know how to get past my awkwardness in commentary when I play solo. If I'm alone I just go mute, or possibly cuss like a sailor...
How do I hold a conversation or topic without getting awkward, any tips?

You have three options: 1. Gaming videos, though you'd have to do something unique to stand out. 2. Vloging/pranks 3. Top ten lists. Hyper popular until you run out of ideas. If all else fails, just make minecraft videos.. The children will swarm to you in millions.

1 返信Just be as cancerous and annoying as possible. Spout memes like a 15 year old who just discovered /b/

1) Upload videos "exposing" people who you don't personally like (Take note: No real information is needed for this, just come up with random, incriminating shit that will get them hate). 2) Dox them when they bitch about it. 3) Profit.

Now excuse me while I help the skeleton in my closet move into my old roommate's room.
But yeah, try making 2 opposite views and make a compelling argument for both sides or criticize yourself on a mess up and act annoyed that you said that to yourself.
1 返信Easy. To get views just. 1. PUT THE TITLE IN ALL CAPS 2. Put something like 'you won't believe this' or 'OMG CLICK NOW' 3. put boobs in the thumb nail.

2 通の返信Talk about the game itself, talk about yourself, talk about what got you into the game, talk about what you're doing and/or gonna do or what you're working with. Talk about the game: Talk about the game itself and talk about what you know about it. Talk about if you enjoy it or what you like/dislike about it. Talk about yourself: It's kind of a typical topic but it helps viewers get to know you. Talk about what got you into the game you're playing: When I started new series on my channel and such, I sometimes talk about what got me into the game or how I was introduced to the game. That helps you make more connections to other things. Talk about what you're doing/gonna do: Talking about current actions or current plans that you're doing it going to do. That helps things flows and lets your viewers know what is coming or what will come in the near future. Example: in Minecraft I let my viewers know (on livestreams or in videos) what I'm doing for plans: building a house, exploring, finding things. The more you talk, the more connections you'll make as you talk, therefore you have plenty of commentary. It's okay to have pauses in commentary, but you don't want it to be too long. So, you kind of speak what you're doing (example: I kind of make sounds or count when placing blocks in Minecraft) as a type of filler and eventually something will come to you. If you want more YouTube tips just PM me: I have been YouTubing for only a year but since I've been doing everything myself (making the video, editing, making the setup, making all thumbnails and channel art myself, etc) I have a lot of handy tips and tricks and some good ol' Tuber wisdom up my proverbial sleeve.
