I just lost four matches in a row and I lost count how many times I've gotten blained in the head.
Before someone tells me stop running into sniper lanes, trust me, I know how to play against snipers. I'm also using a scout rifle with single point sling to make me harder to hit. I also have another scout with high caliber rounds.
If I'm shooting a guy 3 times in the head with my scout rifle, he should not be able to headshot me back so easily. Unfortunately this happens way too often in destiny and it is complete bs. I just lost my last game on the final kill to this scenario.
The only other option is to charge the opponent and battle close quarters. Well guess what. They're using TLW like 90% of the time.
Honestly Bungie. It's been 2 years and this has been a problem for too long. Fix it. It doesn't make sense that the same 5 weapons are being used in all competitive modes, in a game which has hundreds of weapons.
I'm sick of being forced to use the same loadout over and over just to be able to compete. SBMM has made every match I get into super sweaty, so if I use any of the odd guns, I'm putting myself at a huge disadvantage.
I don't mind SBMM. Just fix the game so that all guns can be used. Not just 5.
Add more flinch to snipers.

For all the people on here claiming to be great snipers, all Snipers have aim assist that's why anyone can pickup a sniper and dominate with it. Snipers are dam near easier to use than a shotgun. I saw a level 8 the other day no scoping people with a sniper. Take away aim assist and let's see how good snipers in pvp really are.

2 通の返信Toning down the aim assist could go a long way as well. Either that or... hell, I don't know, buff Fusion Rifles?

13 通の返信Fridénにより編集済み: 7/11/2016 3:42:44 PMHigh aim assistance weapon with low flinch and re-centering reticule after taking damage that can one shot kill at any distance and shut down any super? I disagree, snipers are perfectly balanced. Only 80% of special kills came from them this week, their is absolutely nothing here suggesting the skill gap may not be wide enough.

I totally agree. it is simply impossible that today a sniper has knocked me out with a shot fired from about 20 meters.a sniper rifle absolutely cannot have one so low zoom ...... or is there the trick ??? I tried to aim sometimes with sniper rifles but up close it is truly impossible !!

3 通の返信Yeah I hear you: I get sniped all the time. Usually I sit there wondering How The Hell Did They Do That? I've tried many different scopes and perks but I just don't get it. What's worse? When I get shot, no matter what perk is on my rifle, my sights jump like I'm having a seizure. How does anyone manage to snipe another player when they are getting hammered by bullets?? This shit makes no sense.

If you are getting shot so many times each game where you have to make a post about it then maybe you need to change tactics up? I know for me once I'm sniped I'm the head by someone more than once a game I'm changing something up to not get sniped again. Yes there should be more flinch but most snipers if good will get you before your second shot

Git gud maybe? Sorry but i shotty and i don't find much problems getting sniped at all. And in sweats much of the same (and i play too tier snipers that i know are really good.) 1 thing i will agree is the annoying bodyshots and 90 of HP gone down with it

7 通の返信All they have to do is just de-scope the sniper when they're ADS and being hit by bullets... I don't understand why bungie wont just do that.... That's how it was in Halo and it worked perfectly fine.
