A tragedy occurred when I went to Gamestop the other day
So im in Gamestop. And some poor soul comes in with his girlfriend. He is holding what looks like pretty much every game he has ever owned [spoiler]I'm already worries for him at this point[/spoiler]
So they go up to the counter. The Gamestop Neckbeard Lord looks as worried as I am. He asks the guy "so youre selling it all? Do you won't store credit?" The guy only responds "no I need cash" but the girl responds with more.... "Yeah someone's gotta pay the bills so he has to give up his... TOYS"
Gamestop Neckbeard Lord rolls his eyes and says oh, I slightly smile and laugh to myself but at the same time hold back the tears. This poor man. Can he ever regain his dignity? All the other neckbeards gaze in horror like some blasphemer has insulted their gods....
...and the guy probably gets maybe 200 max for like 35-40 games... So much for paying bills.

If the story is true then the guy needs to learn the old saying; "Act like and adult, get treated like an adult. Act like a child, get treated like a child." Maybe if he prioritized his life's necessities correctly and lived within his means he wouldn't be broke and selling video games for cash at Gamestop. Anyone who sells anything for cash at Gamestop is an idiot or they stole what they are selling.

They rip you a new one when it comes to trade in value, and then ask you for your organs when you ask for cash value. Then they re-sell your stuff at retail price, thieves. PS Buying Destiny Used is a scam too. They sell it for $10 dollars knowing you have to go online and buy the access key for all the expansions. LOL. Thieves. And they even sell it new for $20 knowing you can't do anything unless you buy $60 more worth of DLC.

Thays what me and my friends called "whipped". Now I would drop my game any day to hang with my gf if I had one but I sure as hell wouldn't sell me games because she wants me to. Thats like telling me I'm not allowed to hang out with my best friends because you don't like them.

I had a buddy in the army who pretty much had to do the same thing because his wife was a bitch. She didn't even work she just didn't want him playing games so she told him to get rid of it all or she'd leave him and take the kids. I told him to his face his wife was a -blam!-, he agreed but did it for his kids

I feel sorry for that guy, especially considering that doesn't seem like a healthy relationship and he's probably gonna end up being single except all his games are gonna be gone because of someone who didn't care about his likes or dislikes. Even if they stay together, poor guy's gonna be on the bottom of what's clearly a controlling person for the rest of his life.
