Why is that?
It is liberals that constantly call for regulation, liberals that call for "redistribution," which is more government control over income and, essentially, theft... It's liberals that support the importation of supporter of Shariah law, a system that will never yield to any other and one so barbaric it makes -godwinslaw!- look like Boy Scouts, essentially calling for the extermination or subjugation of everyone the -godwinslaw!- hated plus everyone else that doesn't follow the system to the letter... As well as a horrible life for those that do.
Liberals also force insanity... Like the recent push to pretend me, with penises, are women. THEY ARE NOT! (I'm for gay rights by the way... I just also happen to be for reality.)
Then there's "diversity" and affirmative action... Racist laws designed to impose whatever racist nonsense the liberals are fighting for today.
Please, a liberal is a totalitarian... If they ever succeed... Which they won't.
Brexit is only the beginning.
The amount of generalization is unreal. Can you not have a more nuanced opinion, it just makes you look stupid if you make assumptions without talking to all 'liberals' or even 'conservatives' you don't give people the chance of even telling you what they believe is correct. If you are still not interested in being more open-minded when it comes to politics, just leave you're not adding to the conversation.
All you've done here is berate without offering any evidence. There is no nuance. The "nuances" are the problem.
There aren't degrees of murder and there are not degrees of Shariah.
Some thing are simply black and white. The EU is bad. Communism is bad. A caliphate in Europe is bad. The problem with the modern liberal is they want there to be nuances in everything. There aren't.
I'm in MENSA. I have a graduate level education. I make good money. You think I believe what I do because I'm not as smart as you. You are incorrect. I believe what I do because I am much smarter than you... So much so that not only do I understand the arguments for nuances, I understand where there aren't any.
I'm not in favor of any of these things, but I would still call myself a liberal. You're lack of nuance makes you ignorant, thus undoing any creditable you once thought you had. Generalization is lack of nuance, and making assumptions based on a few instead of majority or lacking to simply acknowledge that there are differences. As for your education it is meaningless on anything outside of it, you are not the arbiter of intellect and to use generalizations makes you look like a layman.
