I'm sure a ton of people are about to be very negative about this, but sniper rifles are more over powered right now, then shotgun's were when the game released. I've seen one too many times, someone just standing there aiming down their sights, you proceed to light up their head, and in 1 second boom. You're dead. Everytime I have used a sniper and been shot at, my scope jumps and the shot goes where the sight is at. There is no way someone getting shot at should be able to accurately aim for the head.

3 通の返信Solution: They're good. You're not. No offence. You did say it yourself, sniper players have countered back with a headshot while getting shot at to kill you quickly. You've tried it, but it didn't go your way. You attempted the same strategy, but since it didn't work for YOU, it's OP. Personally, I don't see them OP. I just stay in places where they have a disadvantage.

2 通の返信They r definitely better than other weapons atm but that's just because they're basically the only original special weapons to not b nerfed. This shows me that instead of nerfing them to make another special weapon OP (sidearms would b next) we should buff shotguns FR's and sidearms to contend with snipers, and while we r at it lets buff most of the primaries back to when they were all good, no AR nerf, first PR buff, slight reduction to range on original HC's but that's it. First nerf to TLW thorn and suros, and the vex post buff. All specials stay day one values, except sidearms get a buff to b 3 shots to the head because there was a huge variety of special weapons in year one. Special ammo drops should b reverted back to year one drop rates, same with heavy ammo. Heavy ammo drops when u kill an enemy with heavy ammo, same with special ammo. Scouts get a slight buff to become useable. Arc bolt buffed to do 120 damage, arc blade buffed to one shot any super (unless given bonus armor by perk in subclass) sunsinger put back to original everything (including fire bolts and Viking funeral, suck it up they weren't OP) any Hunter nerf added in last update is reverted cause those were unneeded (except the smoke nerf) twilight garrisons nerf is removed, Titans stay the same fairly balanced. This would b the perfect meta imo

I'm not saying buff or nurf anything. I'm simply saying the sniper rifles are broken. You should not be able to quickscope someone 5 feet infront of you, or even have perfect accuracy under fire. Another thing that's game breaking about them is the ability to instantly kill someone within seconds of that person being revived over shield and all. No other weapon in the game can do that in one shot. Sniper rifles are more powerful than the Vex Mythoclast was before it was severely neutered.

3 通の返信Agreed, getting quick scoped at 5 feet away by the same person 5 times in a row is not balanced. Those who protect snipers are scrubs because they say it takes skill, so you guys know, snipers do not take skill.

10 通の返信Honestly they need to buff shotguns again, not to what they were in year 1, but at least increase the damage and range, you can shotgun people from 5 feet away and not always kills
