Warlock Shadestep
What would be a good version of Shadestep or (EVADE) for the warlock reply with what you think would be a good idea for it.

2 通の返信Think it's already called blink lol... Na but seriously each class and subclass needs differences otherwise what's the point... If you want evasion play hunter, range melee and stupid ass burns warlock, running in like a tank titan. Each have their strengths and weaknesses, just have fun playing and it'll be more enjoyable.

Maybe but the only way I see this being somewhat balanced is if they made it for the one and only subclass that at the moment, has nothing going for it...[spoiler]Void Walker needs a buff somehow, the super easily gets taken down by other supers. It's really not that reliable of a class either. If they added an "Evade" I would be an exotic.[/spoiler] Exotic Boots with Evade [spoiler]This piece of gear wouldn't allow the warlocks to both blink and evade, it would take the place of blink and instead give a focus burst glide along with a single use evade that recharges.[/spoiler] The buff to this class would make it more viable for normal crucible, maybe pve and definitely ToO

Not that long ago people complained that the classes felt too similar. As soon as people feel like a subclass can do something they can't, they start to feel left out and underpowered. People will complain no matter what. Sure, you can't Shade Step, but you also can't throw knives, Shoulder Charge, etc, just like Titans and Hunters can't self-res or use abilities the way Warlocks can. [i]Every[/i] subclass has something that gives them a big advantage. That what makes them fair.

9 通の返信Well I'm not sure about any kind of extra evade ability...but there was supposed to be a helmet that gave us a better blink. I know it's not the same thing but that's the closest we'll get to it. http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Astrocyte_Verse

7 通の返信Nothing..... Due to them having the helmet (forgot the name) that will give them a reduce time for blink cool down probably coming in the next dlc.....

2 通の返信How about not all classes need to have the same thing so warlocks shouldn't get one? Hunters and warlocks have blink, and Titans won't be getting that ever, so I think it's fair that hunters and Titans get an evade. And Titans and warlocks have a potential one-shot melee, which no Hunter subclass has, again, fair.

Warlocks already have a decent evade - it's called Blink. You have had it since vanilla. Titans have had nothing, and now they get an evade, while in the air, with an exotic restriction. Hunters are squishy. They do not have the luxury of dmg resistance or recovery that both Warlocks and Titans have. They have speed. That is what their class is about. Having something like shadestep makes sense for them.
