Where does it say that if you are wired, your connection is always good?
Even on Wi-Fi can a connection be good. It depends on so many things that just being wired doesnt mean you shouldnt lag.
Couple of things that matter:
High-speed internet.
Stable connection.
Good range to wi-fi point or good working cables.
If you have a faulty wire, your connection is not stable. Mix that with a unstable connection to begin with and it gets worse and worse.
Also Bungie doesnt ban/suspend people without good reasons. From a other reply i saw that your opponents lag out alot. So that means either the connection is so bad it causes them to lag out, you DDoS people or its the people you play with that do that. [u]<--- [/u] yes, people you play with can also cause you to get a ban. So even if you have a perfect connection, they can caused your ban to happen.

When match starts if crap acts weird I leave immediately cause of the way bans work. I play solo a lot cause of my work schedule. See a lot of games that are fishy as hell. Don't think it was my last crucible game but ended up leaving cause I was the only green bar in the game. Everyone was showing red bar including the team I joined into. Went nope reported and left.
