Bungie's latest patch has brought with it some serious changes to the Voidwalker's abilities - all of them being incredible improvements to the Voidwalker's Super, Melee, and Grenade abilities.
From health and Super energy on Melee hit to instant Grenade recharge and health regeneration on Grenade and Super kills, the Voidwalker has been given the edge that it needed to compete with other subclasses in both Crucible and PvE.
However, there are other subclasses which fall behind because they, too, lack the edge needed to compete with others.
I'm talking about the Titan's subclasses, and I'm asking that you give them the improvements they need to compete with the other classes in both Crucible and PvE.
Here are some ideas for improvements to the Titan I hope you'll consider implementing.
If you agree and would like to see any of these changes, feel free to show your support.
Striker
Death From Above:
While airborne, Fist of Havoc can be aimed at enemies below, and deals more damage in a wider radius. Bonus damage and blast radius is determined by your altitude.
Shockwave:
Fist of Havoc unleashes a wave of devastating energy which travels outward from the user.
Discharge:
Hits with Storm Fist deal area of effect damage around the target. Enemies damaged by Discharge are temporarily blinded and disoriented.
Before you say that this would be over-powered, consider that Nightstalkers get to blind, damage, and slow enemies with Smoke from any range.
Headstrong:
Sprint faster, and sprinting increases the leap distance of Fist of Havoc. Reduces incoming flinch.
Aftershocks:
Increases the duration of Pulse Grenade, Lightning Grenade, and Aftermath and the blinding duration of Flashbang Grenade and Discharge.
An ideal version of this perk would add two seconds to Discharge and Flashbang's blinding effects, making Flashbangs useful in Crucible.
Defender
Unbreakable:
Force Barrier continually recharges, and recharges your Melee and Grenade as it takes damage.
Bastion:
Increases the duration of Ward of Dawn, and enemies that enter your Ward of Dawn will instantly be suppressed.
Gift of the Void:
Your Ward of Dawn and Force Barrier will generate Orbs of Light as they take damage from enemy fire.
Illuminated:
Increases the benefits granted by Blessing of Light and Weapons of Light. Kills made while under the effects of Armor, Blessing, or Weapons of Light have a chance to create an Orb of Light for your allies.
Sunbreaker
Flameseeker:
Your Hammer of Sol will alter its flight path to seek out your enemies. Hammer of Sol tracks more aggressively while your sights are set on your target.
Fleetfire:
Scrap this perk.
The Agility bonus is barely noticeable even at +3 stacks and the added reload and weapon handling speed is hardly a reward when Voidwalkers get both just for hitting someone and Bladedancers get Quickdraw.
I've been using it in Crucible only because Flameseeker and Explosive Pyre are zero help.
Please, remove Fleetfire and in its place put another perk: Fire Forged.
Fire Forged:
Enemies felled by your fire grant you additional Armor and flinch resistance. Stacks up to three times.
Well, these are some ideas I think would improve the Titan's standing in Crucible and, in general, give them the edge they need.
Thanks for listening.

They only seem overpowered because they're all buffs. As a Titan through the ages (excepting Crota) ... You either just accepted the nerfs that came or were the whisper in a crowd of Hunters and Locks. And we're talking multi-thousands more of other subclasses getting the play time over their want for Titan. Which is a perspective to ponder about, should the care ever wash over anyone. Side note : Titan smash received a nerf in a damage fall off, to include an even smaller radius. What's being asked is to give it back. I don't like being electrocuted so I run from it (simple-stupid right?) Don't like being smashed? Stop trying to act like a Titan and use one of your multiple melee OHK's to kill us (silly me, thinking otherwise) ... Than cry about how a 3+ min CD was used against your .25 second CD. -blam!- off and learn to STR stack. ----- Bungie made a mistake. First, they set a precedent by actually listening to the preteen mob mentality about lolTitan2OP. Through other similar updates prior to April, they kept on. So... Comes April. Bungie gives this big spiel on weapon over-use, scope over-use, exploits in each, gave us the equality speech for all things created in their Destiny inventory. And showed us their purty graphs when they data mined to give credit in their platform on whats intended for use, what's just been oversight and what's obviously been abused through sheer mass of numbers. Mmmmmmmk. I'd like these graphs on classes most used (pvp and otherwise). On perks most talented into. On most used subclasses. What supers are used the most, the most deaths caused by which super, the most narrow escapes Guardians were awarded when left alive from another's supers, etc etc. How many Hits registered compared to deaths that followed. (surely when you have a shoulder tackle or hunters blade dance hit guardian X, X's death are to follow. That's just the law of the program, right? Where's that graph?) Where's your spiel about class equalizing?

As a Titan main, I don't think Titans need this much of a buff. This much would cause an outcry for nerfs, which would result in them being nerfed into the ground later. Really the only necessary one is the buff to death from above. I like that idea a lot. But in relation to fleet fire: I love that perk. That's what I use. The agility stack is very noticeable. At 3 stacks it's almost as much of a boost as the MIDA.

While the ideas you have put forth are interesting and refreshing some of these are uncalled for and are truly overpowered and need refinement so Titans will be able to fall in line with other subclasses. To begin the illuminated skill is already the premier choice for all defenders in the crucible and in all forms of Play. Instead buff the iron harvest perk since it is the least chosen perk. Unbreakable is not amazing but it is balanced and is unneeded. Similarly the discharge is unneeded. It is too overpowered because it can blind a person in a Melee fight. If it only activated on a kill then it would be acceptable. The increase in damage for headstrong won't matter in PvP too much but the area will be a huge factor and will immediately make this THE choice for all modes of play so no thanks. Sun breaker just needs one or two things fixed and then it would be good again. For example increase velocity to pre-Nurf stats when flame seeker is active. Likewise increase blast radius to pre-Nurf stats when explosive pyre is active. Finally fleet fire does need to be buffed. Your idea is moderate in this sense so it would be applied here. These would be adequate changes that would keep the Titans IN-LINE with other subclasses. It is true that Titans by nature are not powerful in the PvP meta currently but this is not an excuse to make them overpowered.

Let's be real here, Defender Titans don't need a buff. They're an awesome support/shut down subclass in pvp, and they're the best pve subclass in the game. Striker is okay too, but I'd like to see a damage increase to FoH, at least in pve (but honestly, if you're in pve and doing anything but messing around because you like kicking things, why aren't you on a Defender?) Sunbreaker just needs the hit detection on hammers fixed and they'd be fine too.

7 通の返信So I'm seriously the only one who only uses fleetfire? Cause I think the extra reload speed and agility is very helpful. Especially since I like to put the First Curse in my loadout...Oh well

Y8sにより編集済み: 4/25/2016 9:03:15 PMEvery titan subclass is fine. As are all other subclasses in Destiny. Nothing needs changed. FoH has a huge blast radius and provides three types of it to deal with certain situations. Defender is definitely fine. Its more of a pve subclass. Sunbreaker omg another one, another one. No its fine. Stop trying to make the tracking amazing. The class shouldn't have tracking to begin with tbh. Its fine just time and arc your shots. If the character is too far away then it was your fault for not precisely using it. If the character is too "fast" then its your own skill. Also the voidwalkers needed some actual "loving" The warlocks are all about abilities and grenades and super. Everything is centered around their abilities. But energy drain was so weak I never noticed it ever. When Destiny came out for atleast 2-3 months I never knew what the dang thing did. Now it's noticeable and a really great improvement for pve.

While these are all good ideas, all bungie is doing is just tweaking some knobs and adjusting some numbers. I'm surre that was really changed with voidwalker was some cooldown reductions and changing the Lifesteal drain to proc on hit. As much as I wish, They wont add new features to skills and talents, that would be a rebuild. I'm sure most of these changes the sandbox team only spent like half a day doing. The core bungie team is not working on destiny anymore.
