Decided tonight to listen to the soundtrack from Halo 3, I've had the CD laying on my computer desk for the last month or so.
Man, it brings back such great memories of all of the friends I've made and fun and happiness it brought me and so many other people.
The musical score by Marty was one of the most amazing pieces I've heard.
It's hard to believe it's been about 8-9 years since its release.
Never had a game came along that made me feel like part a something bigger, an amazing community of people who felt the same.
We all know what became of it all and we try to forget. But, looking back, those experiences were just something many of us will never forget.
What do you guys feel?
Not trying to start an opinionated "This game is better than this game" argument. I just think it's fun to reminisce over the past.
1 返信It was a fair good experience tbh. I remember before I had Halo 3, I was absolutely obsessed with watching the trailers and ViDocs. It was all I'd talk about on Halo CE's Voicechat. Running through the Vidmasters again on my (previously alternate, now main) Account with a few friends later this year. Should be fun trying to deal with 3 years of input lag ayy lmao.

I remember coming home from school and playing it with my friends all the time, and on the weekends, even got to the point where we would system link and stay up all night. Custom games like Fat Man, and Cops and Crooks was awesome. Slayer matches with 8 of us was crazy fun too. Then we'd all jump online and just rek the noobs. Sadly, those days are gone. Such a great game with such a great legacy.

Literally this game was my life when I was younger, played custom games mostly with full lobbies playing games like ghostbusters, fat kid and teacher in school. These were the days, just wish they brought it froward or remastered it.

5 通の返信I got kicked out of college because of too much Halo. 10,000 matches will do that to you. Don't be like me. Lol. Such a fun game though

2 通の返信I was only 9 when it came out, but it was the first game I played on my Xbox. I definitely wasn't competitive, or good, but I spent countless hours with my friends playing. I remember beating the campaign on legendary and finding the skulls and getting hyabusa (is that how you spell it?). Those were the days. Oh and I also have "one final effort" on my phone and listen to it every now and then just for nonstalgia.
