To those buying 20 to 40 dollars of sterling shit. You are actually killing this game and the franchise.
$20 used to get a raid, a bunch of guns, new exotics and a few story missions.
Bungie now sees how much you pay for trivial crap like a full set of armor and says to themselves. If they are willing to pay that much for a chance at reskinned armor set, we can get at least $60 for a ttk sized expansion and $30 to $35 for a dark below sized dlc.
Even if 3/4 of the remaining population doesn't buy these boxes, it will happen.
Buying armor is here to stay, now it's just a point of what they will sell next.

BanditNationにより編集済み: 4/14/2016 6:16:03 PMWhy should I care about what people choose to do with their money? I have no say in the matter, and neither do you. If they choose to spend their money on something you see as stupid, then so be it. Besides, Bungie said they're using the profits from Silver to make updates like this. If Silver were never introduced, the Update could either not have been made, or would have been a paid DLC.

1 返信I dropped 20 bucks on Tuesday. Total impulse buy. I could literally spend 500 bucks on worthless emotes and fake armour and it wouldn't even matter to me. 50 dollars to me is nothing. When the next game comes out I'll just press a button to buy it. IDGAF if it's 250 bucks. #moneyaintathing

Yeah screw those hardworking dev's who work 12+ hours a day to create a functioning ever changing world we're all addicted to. People assume Bungie is just filling bags of cash through micro transactions & buying yachts. Without a constant flow of money they can't continue to grow. Everyone should thank those who spend copious amounts of cash on silver allowing Bungie to hire more talented people to make this great game even better.

3 通の返信No, this free update is paid for by those whole bought Sliver. I haven't spent a dime on silver and I got free content. Let those who want to spend their money on cosmetic junk do so, and if you don't want it yourself, don't buy it. It's that simple. Argument over.
Destiny isn't pay to win. Anyone who believes that is a paranoid idiot and needs to quit wearing tinfoil hats.
9 通の返信The people that waste their money for this GARBAGE are dumbasses. Giving your money to a lazy ass company like this that hasn't done squat in over a year about thier servers.... Dumbasses.
-
3 通の返信Bump. With the slow content production compared to the revenue gain Bungie is in debt to it's players. The Desticles are just showing Bungie how little they need to work to make as much money as a DLC.

4 通の返信You know, you post a lot of negative and salt filled posts on here. The community doesn't need it. Please leave if you don't like the game.

2 通の返信Meh... Doesn't bother me. This update is more content that I don't have to spend more money on to acquire so if people want to buy stuff in game by all means go right ahead. On that note though, I will admit that I have purchased a few things in game so I'm just a guilty if you will of doing whatever you care to complain about. All I know is that Destiny 2 will not be priced higher than the other games and the expansion will still be $40 when it comes out, regardless of how much is spend on micro transactions.

Didnt you read their business plan for future? They are funding the free DLC/content-drops with Eververse. Like this April one. Ive never spend a dime in any kinds of "diamonds/silver/gold/Marks" etc. Usually when I play the game and it comes to that point where progression is dependented on spending your money, I just drop the game. Destiny isnt like that. Eververse isnt like that, well atleast wasnt. I dont yet know how to feel about the chance of getting new armour pieces from treasure boxes.

I really like the armor. I have extra money. It doesn't affect anyone who doesn't want to spend any money. It puts more money in the developers budget. Bigger budget bigger game. Win win for me. But that's my opinion. I understand where you're coming from. We don't want it to get to where you have to spend money on micro transactions to advance in this game.

4 通の返信I've been saying this from day one. Stop feeding the beast people. If you want meaningful content then don't spend your money on worthless crap. The way to send a message to bungie is to either stop playing until new content comes out or just wait for destiny 2 to come out and not put extra money in their pockets for emotes and etc.
-
Destiny trying to give us new content for free so buying silver isn't ruining the game it's supporting destiny and helping the developers because they understand some people may not have the money to keep up on puchusing content

3 通の返信So spending 60 bucks on a game you put probably 49 days play time into as opposed to say call of duty which will just sit on your hard drive till you realize cod died long ago. This game has been well worth the money and I don't mind forking over some money for them to keep the lights on so WHEN they do put out dlc it's good. They can't pay employees on your salt

5 通の返信Yeah I spent $50 because I felt like it , how in any way will that affect you, it's not even pay to win its still cosmetics.
