What about safety of individuals using the bathroom or locker room? What is to stop a sexual assualt or pedophile from claiming they are allowed to use it because they identify as that gemder, but instead they using the law to prey on a innocent person.

I don't want some confused creep in the same bathroom as my sister or mother. It's a safety thing. Biology wasn't created with Warm PC fuzzies. The fact that I could walk in a Women's bathroom and do the Harlem Shake with my pants down really worries me.

Take it to the supreme court. It's unconstitutional. Edit: Who gives a -blam!- about the bathrooms? The big problem is in the article; it bars people from having legal recourse in state courts if they're fired based on race/gender

People expected this to not pass? It's the Bible Belt guys. Everyone's conservative as hell.

It also gives employers the right to discriminate against ANYTHING they wish, and bans local governments from protecting employees. The LBGT part was literally a cover to sneak that in there, so when it is repealed, then they can leave that part in there. As someone who works in North Carolina, I am extremely worried for my job security. The fact that my views on certain issues can affect my position and wage more than my work ethic bothers me a lot.

As someone living in North Carolina, I think both sides are wrong. People shouldn't just pick and choose what bathroom they want to go in. As for conservatives, making all transgenders use the restroom of the gender they were born with would have to include the ones actually passable for the opposite gender. People would still be uncomfortable with someone who is seemingly the opposite gender going into their bathroom. Feel free to let me know if I'm wrong about anything though

I don't think it's up to the government to decide who can use what restroom.

So are we going it yoink down the pants of every person that has to take a piss? Are we going to place cameras in the stalls? This is law is ridiculous. No one made a fuss of it before this.

This is the stupidest -blam!-ing outrage I have ever seen. If someone looks like a woman and uses the women's restroom no one is going to give a shit. No one is checking birth certificates at the door. If a dude that looks like a dude but identifies as a woman uses the women's restroom then my wife is going to feel extremely uncomfortable. And for what? So a tiny little percentage of a percent of the population can feel comfortable about pooping with people they identify as? It's ridiculous and you know it. I swear people are just sitting around thinking of ways to be more "progressive" which in itself is pretty ironic considering everyone used to just shit in the same bush with each other and now we're going back to that.
