I cannot understand how bungie staff can come up with such idiotic ideas such as changes to how we perform revives.
Not all of us are amazing snipers, so some of us are the team medic.
It's actually damn hard trying to do a quick res and push someone out the way of a sniper hard scoped on you and your team member.
So now I have to sit there for longer and my shield is even less.
The only people who benefit from these changes are snipers.
The top players are all great snipers, the players who cannot snipe, have no chance of going to the light house.
If you make revives take longer then sniper res kills should not be allowed.
How can you call this balanced? I'm more pissed about this then the warlock nerfs. FFS.

Akronにより編集済み: 4/10/2016 4:43:47 AMRevives have been broken since Trials was introduced. You shouldn't be rewarded for dying. Can't count how many times I've been killed because someone lived my bullets and sprinted straight for the revive, got the revive, and then you're in a 2v1 situation against 2 guys with overshields, one full health, and you have to reload. Its almost always a guaranteed win for them or you're forced to run away, leaving you in a 2v1. All because they were rewarded for dying. Don't want to get revive sniped? Don't get sniped out in the open. Use jumps and slides to maneuver around corners and when youre in open area. Movement is key. If you are standing still you are doing it wrong. If I have learned anything from MTashed, its movement, and it has become second nature and helped my game immensely. Also, if you are seriously upset about the warlock "nerfs" then you rely on crutches more than expected. Being able to spam more OP grenades when not using b̶a̶d̶k̶i̶d̶ fireborn spec, is hardly a nerf at all. And flameshield made warlocks never lose melee battles. If you want to mention nerfs ruining a class, take a look at the Sunbreaker.

No the revive nerf is one hundred percent ok revives were abused and made it to easy to do so and if res sniping isn't allowed then why should a nice revive shield be res sniping rewards a skilled hand and honestly pressing the sprint button and b/o takes danm near no skill you should be punished for having deaths on your team not rewarded in 5 seconds with an over shield and honestly getting to the light house does not require you to be a sniper and wtf is a team medic there's playing passive and playing agressive wtf is a medic yes I sometimes play as a support player but I'm not a Medoc ffs I work with clean up kills distraction flanking team shooting and keeping the other team of the revives when I play this way ffs one of the most retarded posts to date

Donaにより編集済み: 4/10/2016 4:20:52 AMBc mtash decided to put his 2 cents and bungie agreed intead of asking what the community really wants! And from what I remembered the community was not ok with mtash and dattos vedio about the revive and pple were very upset and wanted it to be left alone. There was nothing wrong with the revive. I think trials will either be slow-paced or vice versa cos the revives takes much longer, specially during 1v3 when you're teammate has 21 seconds before he can be revived. It's dumb; 7 second increment is a bit harsh.

The changes are good. Now people can't abuse such a forgiving revive system that takes less than a second and grants the idiot who died an over shield as well as the person who did something as simple as pressing X next to the shiny glowing circle.

5 通の返信If you're rezzing a team mate while there is an enemy scoped in on his orb then you are part of the problem and why these changes are coming. Dying should never be rewarded.

1 返信"Team Medic." In other words, you contribute nothing to your team combat wise and are good for nothing but sticking back and reviving your equally shitty team. Is that about right? Come on, the only ones complaining about the changes to revives are the ones that die a lot.

1 返信I cannot snipe and have been to the light house multiple times. Finding good teammates who communicate well is more important.
The top players are all great snipers, the players who cannot snipe, have no chance of going to the light house.
You destroyed your own argument here. You complain about balance, but then say that the best players are snipers, meaning the players who cannot snipe are not great players. In which case, I would have to say, with great regret, you simply need to "git gud." Just take the time to learn to snipe so you can compete with them. Don't complain about wanting everything your way just because you don't bother to learn to snipe.

1 返信There's absolutely no reason why someone should be the designated medic if everyone can do it so easily
