Anybody who is saying the Division flopped doesn't have the Division..
Either that or you have no idea what flopped means. I feel like it's the same idiots who said Destiny was a flop lmao.
The lore in the Division is extremely prevalent. AngryJoe didn't even mildly look into it if he was saying there's no memorable characters. Aaron Keener, the rogue agent? [spoiler]Gordon Amherst, the guy who made and killed himself with the virus?[/spoiler]
Joe Ferro? The leader of the cleaners? That guy was similar to Hitler when it came to his speeches' characteristics.
There's so many characters in that game with discoverable back stories, echoes and cutscenes.
Why was it a 'flop'? Because you didn't like it? They already have your money though..

Its deffinitely not a flop, because it sold big and everyones playing it. But its a shell of a game compared to what i thought it would be. Boring 'story' campaign. And broken endgame. That said, it looks amazing and has the foundations of a great game. And yesterdays patch seems to have made the dz more interesting. Still needs balancing in other areas but good start. Other than that it needs more to do. I will buy the dlc pass though based on what ive played so far. Theres a great game in there somewhere, its just not revealed itself yet. You basically have strikes with 3 difficultys and dz 'extraction'. Thats it. Needs more content.

It's a broken record Big game designers just aren't putting as much effort into their content anymore or at all for the generation This generation will be a complete waste in everyway Money, time, manpower. The only good coming from this is that big game companies are learning what we're willing to take and those of us who fed dlc and microtransactions are making them believe it's okay to shovel shit into our consoles and get payed for it. We need to show them we're consumers for a better generation of games and content, not consumers who will feed them more cash for less content.

7 通の返信Actually Angry Joes review was spot on. Only a Division apologist would disagree with his more important points. The Division has no story. It has no lore.

5 通の返信It's the same thing when Halo 5 was released. Desticles called it a "huge flop", when in fact it was actually massive and it's still getting bigger with all the additions that have been added for free.

5 通の返信Angry joe shouldn't have to look into the lore. The story should have explained all that. It's just like destiny where the lore is good but the actual story is not. I personally own the division and happen to agree with angry joe in that it was an average game at best and not even close to what it was hyped up to be.

2 通の返信I think what you're referring to is backlash from all the "division will kill destiny" posts. And ubi is partially to blame for misusing quotes out of context and trying to create a space where the 2 games compete. Silly if you ask me because they're totally different games.

I play both. For me division is impressive, beautiful and it's not stingy with the rewards. My problem with it is everything seems quite samey, the guns the enemies the streets and the missions. I don't think it's the makers fault. Being super realistic simply means you can't have magic, monsters and lasers but I do prefer the destiny world. I also feel more attached to my destiny characters.

Shouldn't u be ranking up in the DZ or something? Or better yet, do they not have a Division forums where u guys can talk about how AMAZING the game is?
