If causing cancer is the only prerequisite for prohibition, then we should ban cigarettes.
Oh but wait...what about all that tax money?
I rest my case.
Failed logic.
I'm presenting facts and asking you to prove them wrong. I'm telling you my position and asking you to poke holes in it. Doesn't mean I'm trying to get you to believe my side.
So let me get this straight... You're in the disciplined military "protecting me" and you're complaining about something that you're not even a part of but is illegal? Oh okay for a second I thought you were crazy
Marijuana is a much more effective treatment of anxiety and sleep disorders caused by PTSD than Xanax and klonopin and ambien and trazodone and seroquil and Zoloft. OP may need marijuana one day, so I'd say he has a stake in the argument.
I'm a veteran with PTSD, who's been hooked on Xanax and a number of opiates, courtesy the Veteran's Administration. At one point I was taking six different medications, all prescription from the VA. I eventually entered treatment to quit these medications, and now all I take is marijuana. Been clean of benzodiazepine and opiates since 2012. I have my life back, I'm happy, and I sleep like I did before my deployments, or close enough anyway.
I'm sorry your friends are addicts. I'm sorry you're so angry. But on this topic you are flat out wrong. I see from your other replies that you're never going to reconsider your opinion. I'm just glad that people of your opinion are now the minority. Have a nice day.
