Wow...The Division is everything Destiny could be!
Well The Division has been released and so far quite a lot of people are content with it. Damn Bungie your slow, even Ubisoft is putting you to shame (keep in mind these are the creators of Assassins Creed Unity lol). The game has a story right off the bat, decent gun play, has an acceptable loot system, and PvP is OPTIONAL!!! (Sure go ahead a bitch about it guys). Really great youtuber's are already moving on and if Bungie doesn't do something soon, Destiny is going to become pointless. When Bungie releases events they are completed to quickly. Sure they are fun but the content for one event isn't enough for hardcore players. Crimson days was....a let down at least. It was fun for a few hours and then it became repetitive just like the entire game.
Update: This is actually funny. I was expecting a lot of salt, and I received it. All i said is the game is fun and Destiny can learn from it. Sk many people are calling names and they haven't even played the official release of the Division. You don't want to see post like this? Then don't comment and put it on trending *gasp* why didn't you think of that sooner. Oh wait its because most of you feel entitled to get pissy about it. Go ahead open the salt gates again.

Each game has some strengths and weaknesses. However one area I feel destiny shines in over the division is the story. I actually like/care about the destiny universe. Where as with the division I don't care about the story or its characters. Really the only aspect I like about the division in that area is the setting.

3 通の返信I just wish the missions were fun. Are there any strikes in the game? None of the missions feel like one. No vehicles to drive also sucks. I can only see this game lasting about a week. They need to learn from destiny for sure.

Go play the game or read the reviews. I guarantee people will still be playing division. It improves and surpasses destiny! Play it for any extended amount of time and you'll see! A lot of the division players are ex destiny so we know what we want in a game and the division delivers.

I agree that I think division is better in some aspects. I only got it two days ago but one thing that sets it apart from destiny (for me) is that you don't have try hards who leave if you die once. Also, I like how everything can be played solo or co-op, unlike destiny.

6 通の返信Division is very bad. The enemies walk so slow and it takes zero skill. Hide behind a wall simulator. Ive heard this game described as tactical, but its just slow and designed for noobs who cant hang in an actual fps. I will not be spending much time on it.

There is a lot to do and discover in division for the time being. I guarantee if the division came out when destiny did and destiny came out a few days ago. People would be saying destiny is the better game. It's all because the division just came out.

All I have to say is out of the 50 people that are on regularly on my friends list I have one person who still plays destiny the rest are on division. Destiny is old and stale. They patch monthly and in a completely random annoying way. Pvp is basically all you can do cause even though they put out "content" it lasts a week or two and most of the time they are pvp events anyway. And the weapon meta is always there. *shrugs*

5 通の返信I like how hypocrits are ripping the division 3 dats after release for its issues but gave vanilla Destiny a pass for its first year. Year one Destiny had -0 story line - a failed RNG system - legendary engrams decrypting into rare gear -pointless patrol mission ( the only reason you went on patrol was to get planet materials ) -glitched raids. ( crota is still glitched to this day) You can sit there and say how notoriously Shitty the division is. But at least Ubisoft got its core mechanics right at launch

6 通の返信A couple things: 1) Division launched a few days ago, so everything feels new. 2) Ubisoft probably built off the foundation and precedents set by bungie and destiny. 3) Destiny broke the grounds for this type of shooter. So its disingenuous to completely disregard destiny's involvement in creating the division.
