First off this is my opinion, so don't bust my balls for it. Everyone wines like little girls about balance, nerfs, buffs, and bungie listens and changes things. Then you wine and cry some more. Its sad. I've played since beta, and had more fun then. I used to love playing GTA. The unreal driving physics, no damage call off, all the unreal, unbalanced aspects were fun to me. Then it was changed. I can't even hard break around a corner without my car spining in a 360. I'm telling you guys now to shut up about the nerfs and buffs before your game that you love is destroyed!

2 通の返信So Bungie not giving what was promised, isn't ruining the game, and instead we, who are asking for the game we were promised, are killing it? Sadly, we don't have a say in most matters.

Kind of a 50-50 split here. The community complains, Bungie misinterprets the complaints. The community gets all indecisive about the changes made, Bungie scratches it's head and calls it a job well done, see you in a month. The community doesn't know what weapon and statistical balance is and kill those with valid evidence, Bungie records the lynching rather than try to ease tensions.

72 通の返信I vehemently disagree, and mind you, this is someone who has left and come back multiple times and played through TTK and the likes. I just can't stand by the game any longer, because Bungie has lost it. Not in a "they don't know what they're doing" sense. They've lost what made them such a great company that gave us arguably the best FPS of all time (Halo). 1. This game is not what was advertised. It's already been leaked that the story we got in the actual game was a rewrite because the lead writer was fired. They didn't allow the actual story to become what it would have been. And the leaked story was a lot deeper and complex than what we got. The lack of the story's integrity is hilarious, even after multiple DLC's. 2. The game is a cash cow. Each DLC, especially TTK, has promised one thing or another and changed some part of the game's economy, but it's constantly stagnated the game's progress, and the fabled "we're waiting to bring over some exotics that are actually part of TTK" is just obscene. They're literally locking people out of loot/content to artificially extend the effective life of this game rather than giving the content they promised. 3. They have NO idea how to balance Crucible or even PvE problems for that matter. When the community complains, sometimes it can get ridiculous, I agree. But most of the time, the people posting complaints have legitimate concerns about what is actually game breaking and the proposed fixes that gain traction in the community. Bungie is very stupid for basically wanting each gun type to have it's own time to shine, because again, it artificially gives this sense of "cycles". Auto rifles > Hand Cannons > Pulse Rifles and now arguably Scout Rifles. It's actually ridiculous because they give us this large sandbox of weapons but only a handful of weapons are actually viable because of Bungie's weird hidden agenda. The constant nerfs to Fusion Rifles even though they haven't even been relevant since the second ever Crucible patch came out is also ridiculous. They either overnerf or undernerf weapons and classes completely. The only problem with Bladedancer's/Sunbreaker's was the amount of damage reduction they had. They fixed that with BD, but then later messed the class up with the messed up hit detection and nerf to blink, and they completely destroyed the Sunbreaker, which is notorious for only being good for it's Super, that's now an inconsistent mess. 4. The comments by various community people (Luke Smith in particular) have been horrendous. And it basically adds to the thought that we're nothing but consumers with money to them. This isn't the same Bungie from Halo. And it never will be. It's not the same Bungie that literally overhauled Halo 2 to appease the community and make it one of the greatest games they ever made. So many easy implementations (like Private Matches) that the community has been asking for, but instead we get stupid economy fixes and a messed up levelling system that artificially preserves the pre-max level (320 light) because Bungie has lost their ability to make meaningful content. And amongst all this, I was hoping and still have this faint hope that one day, maybe Destiny 2, Bungie reinvigorates the creative nature that made them one of my favourite game makers. They've basically become a worse version of Bioware post ME3 "3 pronged" endings. This game had so much potential. They promised a shared world experience. How can it be shared world when you need to go on a laptop/PC to play endgame content? So much potential. And even then, it's probably the most fluid shooter I have ever seen, but I can't defend it any longer. The community plays a minuscule part in the grand scheme of things. Our voices are little whispers against the words of the corporation that Bungie's higher ups have become.

I agree besides all that lots of forums users crucify players ideas and comments without reason just ego. The forums are used to express our experience and ideas not for ego players to make their own personal playground to be rude disrespectful and immature

17 通の返信Yeah because the community wanted the XP buff removed from nightfalls. Yeah because the community wanted weapon parts nerfed. Yeah because the community wanted no more strange coins from weekly heroics. Yeah because the community didn't want the blue flame from completing the nightfall anymore. Yeah because the community wanted year 1 gear and content to be obsolete. Yeah because the community asked for a shitty RNG system. Have you got the point yet or do you want me to carry on?

3 通の返信I could care less which weapons need buffs nerfs whatever I had diamond camo on all my weapons 3 times and master prestige reset twice in black ops 2 so I can easily adapt to new stronger weapons or work with the ones that "are bad". But I will tell you this if I get another -blam!-ing baboon weasel ferret squirrel chicken hawk fog horn leg horn or bugs bunny error code I will be going to bungie headquarters myself and showing them what a size 13 in their ass looks like oh and I'll give them the other foot foot for $40. I pay entirely too much for my internet and my connection speeds are -blam!-ing gold I'm talking high definition porn streaming here kiddies. Let's fix that shit first quit bitching about warlocks and their fairy wings Titans and their one hit wonder songs and hunters and their elf weapons. Fix the godamn latency or buy the steel toe legendary edition for only $65 bitch...

We asked for AR buff and got .004 damage buff. Who asked for ice breaker nerf? The constant oversights on hunter glitches and exploits. The hammer of sol glitch. Took them over a year to fix thorn 2 shot hide and run and tlw aim glitch. Horrible servers, Melee and HC hits dont register. Reward drops are still horrible. Sbmm is a horrible idea at this point and timebin the life of the game because the population is way too low resulting in solo players like me getting matched vs clans of 3 and 4 fire teams. Dude bumgie has lied and mismanaged this game we love to the ground. Dont blame the community. We have been doing their god damm job for them because they are clueless.

1 返信It's mixture of both. Bungie for not adding and updating content and community for generally everything else.

I cannot speak to the buffs and nerfs argument since I don't participate in those, however I do have to disagree with what you stated in the title. I will give you one such example, Bungie had been presented with a story by the legendary Joseph Staten. This is a man, mind you, that in all the history of working for Bungie had always produced engaging, immersive, and memorable tales that helped put the Halo franchise on the map. And, for some reason beyond this reality's understanding Bungie had thrown out Staten's tale of Destiny out the window at the last minute with the foolish argument that "it was too campy". Whatever the hell that meant. This led to the outright unacceptable Frankenstein's Monster of a "story" we got in Vanilla Destiny that did a piss poor job of introducing characters, character arcs, player motivation, main antagonist(s), and everything else common in the three act story structure. It is borderline appalling.
