Remember when people said that Fallout 4 and BOPS 3 would kill Destiny?
People were saying that Fallout 4 and BOPS 3 were gonna kill Destiny, but they always come back. So I find it hard to believe that The Division will definitely kill Destiny.
Edit: You can play more than one game at a time? I didn't realise that...

Every big release is going to be "the one." This past Fall was the quadruple whammy with Star Wars and Halo thrown into the mix. Yet, they've all come and gone. Or stayed. But none has killed the other. Fallout is, in the end, a solo game. And the others have their fans as well as their detractors. These statements are nothing more than kids being kids. I get it, it's fun. I did it back in the day. But then you reach a point where you realize X never killed Y, and there are usually as many people arriving/returning as there are leaving.

And i have also stopped playing destiny regularly, i just can't keep playing the same 1 raid, 6 strikes and one meanigfull crucible event every week. To me, this is proof that destiny has already died.

2 通の返信Destiny isn't no where close to what it was. I use to have 7-10 pages of friends playing daily. Now I'm lucky to see 7-10 people playing at reset. If you think destiny is fine then you're what's wrong with this community. It's because of morons like you that bungie gets away with their petty BS

Nah hardly anyone has realised the massive pay wall some divison content is behind, quite possibly as savage as Destiny's, when they realise that and Bungie gives them a reason to come back they will do so.

3 通の返信It is kinda different. Fallout 4 and BO3 are other kinds of games. The Division exists in the exact same niche as destiny. I'm not saying it's going to kill destiny, but it is direct competition

9 通の返信BOPS 3 has more issues than destiny honestly smg's can out snipe snipers the drakon is broken op and if you use it you suck at sniping nothing requires skill the specialists are retarded and the spawns still suck

Others have said it but I'll repeat it. Destiny is the only thing that will kill Destiny. I will stop playing Destiny when I feel I have nothing left to do (which I'm very very close to now) and I don't enjoy playing it (not there yet, but without a good rejuvenation that doesn't merely extend the grind to a higher light level, I'll be there soon).

Nothing will kill the game but will certainly hurt that game. I can assure you that yes a lot of people play destiny but I would say at least 50% of the player base has stopped playing destiny, especially outside of events like IB. Over the past month to 2 month I have only played destiny for a IB and crimson doubles. I do jump on here and there when friends ask for raid help but that is it. A lot of players no longer proactively play destiny. The Division will further cut into the game as well, certainly not killing it but again dropping the amount of players who play on a regular basis.

I have never played a game as much as i had played destiny, not to mention i put 53 hours into FO4 before i stopped for a bit. Destinys multiplayer is what mainly keeps me coming back and no other game delivers pve and pvp in such a great combination.

2 通の返信Nothing will kill destiny..all the people who say this just quit for a little because of either one of three reasons : 1.lack of current content but they will be back 2.got wrecked in trials raging so hard they don't play for a few days then come back when trials is up 3.raged during oryx challenge mode quit for like 30 min then proceeded to try again then rage again.

Frankly I just see people who say games are dead as idiots. I play a variety of games ranging from halo to destiny but the people who says this game will kill this game are just idiots. There will always be playing said game that'll be dead. No matter what
