I think it's funny that you think Europe cares about it's citizens when they're being r a p e d every day by immigrants and the government refuses to do anything about it.

In fact. There are more police shootings in the United States than any other modern country. I don't remember the statistic exactly, but I think Iceland has had 1 police shooting fatality in its entire existence as a country. Oh yeah, we are so much safer in America.
-
And without any knowledge of population and crime rate in Iceland, I would wager it's nothing compared to America. Most places with high crime/murder rates are liberal cities with strict gun control and a high rate of unemployed, government funded idiots who could work but realize it's easier to get by if they don't.

Cops have been under some heat lately, and the public doesn't appreciate them as much as they should. Spikes in police shootings probably stem from cops themselves being afraid. If everybody hates me, I'd probably shoot first at the sign of danger too That's just my intake though
-
It is a shame that cops get a bad rap. I wouldn't generalize "public" though. The only people that don't like the police are people who do something that would get them in trouble with the police. An honest, hardworking citizen isn't going to ever be approached by the police, so they don't care. A criminal who drives drunk with 10 lbs. of weed in the back seat is, of course, going to hate the police when all the police want to do is keep people safe.

Do you see my point now?[/quote] That's basically a half truth. You're purposefully leaving out pretty important information for the sake of fear mongering.
