I'd go for that. I have alot of them. But most players don't. Alot of people can't afford to infuse their exotics. The infusion rate for exotics is 70%, so infusing them just burns through shards. The rep gain in would probably be substantial, but this would be balanced out by the general rarity of exotic shards. This would definitely give people with a large stockpile of shards an advantage.
